Pass blocker he's okay, not great not bad. |
Yep, that sounds like Eric Winston.

Not really. Derek Newton was one of their worst players last year and the young Brooks guy they drafted is expected to be a Guard. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

That's what Reid has done in the past when players didn't sign their franchise tender. |
Or he sits the bench | Reid has never done that with a franchise holdout. he;s just withdrawn the tag and let them walk. Why would he change his modus operandi now? |

Especially a guy like Albert who was just franchised. If they try to put him at RT he will likely sit out and force Andy Reid's hand.
The Reid Era in Kansas City could certianly turn into a cluster---- real fast. Atleast it will be entertaining, hello Hard Knocks 2013 |
Reid refuses those kinds of shows. _________________

Spotrac just changed their numbers on Winston. They went from an 8.4M signing bonus to a 4M signing bonus and 4.4 in roster and workout bonuses. If that is the case, cutting Winston would actually save the Chiefs 3.5M. None of the original reports give contract details beyond 4 yrs 22 million so the exact monetary impact of this cut is unknown to the public. _________________

With as much space as they have available this doesnt really make sense to me. Keep him until you have a backup plan and then release him. Or was he owed some sort of bonus? _________________

Or he'll just not play, I think he's very willing to do that. _________________

We don't have as much space as many people think.
Winston is a dominate run blocker but really regressed in pass pro. We we're forced to slide, chip, and help to get our dynamic passing game going.
I'm glad the cut was made, but then again I'm pretty high on Donald Stephenson _________________ I like the Chiefs.

He was my favorite signing last year. I remember how much the fan base on twitter kept recruiting him. Sigh. I was hoping he'd stay. Well he won't be out of work long. Was this a cap move as it was in Houston? _________________

They've already got 2 guys who can man the RT spot, no? |
Rashad Butler is a FA who is most likely not going to be resigned, and Derrek Newton isnt that good even though Kubiak and the staff liked what they saw from him as the season went on. I would welcome Winston with open arms, and move Newton as a backup swing tackle. _________________

I don't understand why Albert is so against moving. He played LG in college.
I know he gets paid more as a LT but that won't change either ways, he's already proven he can play LT. _________________

Redskins need a RT and then are set on O-Line--
--Eric Winston (chiefs) is a former Houston Texan--
--Kyle Shanahan is a former OC with Houston Texans--
--Kyle Shanahan is now OC for the Washington Redskins--
See the writing on the wall, gentleman?
Eric Winston=Signed by the Washington Redskins soon...
(Soon as they get this cap stuff figured out which they will, cause Bruce Allen is the best in the business) _________________

Harris is a FA also, and he was bad for us when we rotated him and Newton during games. We need a better tackle to challenge Newton instead of Harris. _________________
