| Could using him as the same way the Broncos use Von Miller work in Detroit if they drafted him? Is he athletic enough to drop back in coverage? |

There's no reason this couldn't have gone into the prospects thread.
But, I think he could but it likely wouldn't be too pretty the first year because he played closer to the line in college, and as a 4-3 OLB he'd have to cover a little deeper and some faster players. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

I think his talents would be better suited at LDE, but I think the staff, if he's available, should just draft him based on his talent level and adjust the scheme as needed. _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

Good question. Glad some of these topics being started. Hate everything being crammed into one freaking thread about prospects. Having to dig thru it is garbage.
I am not sure he should be compared to Von Miller but you are really only comparing how they use him so I guess I can see it a bit.
I am not sure he would have same impact as Von but I would not mind him in a trade back. Problem is he is going to go a lot higher based on his workouts. _________________

It's alright to stand on it's own. It should generate enough discussion and shouldn't be a big deal unless we have threads opening up for every possible prospect. We can use it to talk about other DE/OLB guys as well.
With that said, I think the Lions need to land a DE to play DE this high not so much a guy without a position that may or may not be able to succeed as a LB. _________________
