Probably rules out a return for Durant. _________________

I hope he came cheap. I've never been a big fan, but he'll have to do. The Lions can't be overly picky right now. _________________

I wanted Durant back because I felt he would be cheaper for pretty much same player.
Hopefully this deal is not too big but at least one of them is back _________________

I'm reserving judgement until I see terms of this contract. 3 years, $5 million? Okay. 3 years, $10 million? Lame. Levy's a below-average starter. I would have preferred Durant if it was a one-or-the-other situation, but I have to think Durant won't cost a lot (for a starter).
Still one of those positions I would mind upgrading via the draft. _________________

Levy played like one of our best defensive players last year before he started playing hurt early in the season.
I'll be thrilled with this signing if the money is reasonable. _________________

I hope the money is reasonable, Levys Ok but whiffs at tackles too many times for me.
Id have preferred Durant over Levy, hopefully we can bring both back on reasonable money. _________________

I like many prefer Durant over Levy but if it's a cheap deal them I am okay with it. _________________

I actually thought Levy played pretty well last year. He did make some mistakes, but hes still young and as long as we didn't give him a ton of money I like this signing. _________________

I like the re-signing. Levy has been moved around every year he's been in the Lions uniform and he's never complained and gone out and played well. Hopefully, getting healthy and continuation at one position will aid in his development. I'd much rather develop our own draft picks, than to continually try to sign and patch up every position.
I'd really like to see Travis Lewis out there though. I understand him not starting, but he should be getting some snaps. Even though he's a MLB, he could develop into our other OLB if all goes well. |

I like Levy a lot, and I don't think he'll do anything but improve now that he actually has some stability in his position. He was pretty good last year, and it was his first time actually playing the same position in consecutive seasons.
Hopefully it's not terribly expensive. I sincerely doubt it will be, but hey. Somewhere around 2-2.5 per. _________________
