It's mini.
It's lazy.
I like it. _________________

That FA would be nasty. McLendon might be more of a 5 tech then a 1/0 tech though. Sammie Lee Hill?
I don't hate the draft, but I'm not in love with it either. _________________

Figured people to be meh on Star due to his heart scare, scared to take Banks from his 40, love the D.J. pick, and meh/dislike the rest of the picks. I threw McDonald in there for Chip's obvious love of TEs and our apparent interest and to push Clay. I just like Stills and think he'd make a great successor to Avant. Threw Nigel Malone in there as a good late round CB as I could find. Then I went to highschool with a kid named AJ Klein but he was a RB..and I watched this LB Klien play and he looked tough w/ great motor/instincts/thumper. _________________ Respect is not given, it is earned. --Brian Dawkins |

Signing McLendon puts Star at NT, I think, rather than 5 tech. Which is fine. I don't hate the Star pick at all. I stil have Banks as somewhere around the #4 CB. I like Swearinger, but I'm afraid he'll be a penalty/fine magnet in the NFL. I would really have liked to see an athletic project at OLB in the later picks to develop behind Lawson.
Like I said, I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it either. _________________

I don't hate the draft, but I'm not in love with it either. | Yeah, I just know McLendon to be massive and a space eater and figured he'd be good at NT. I was looking at some other DTs such as SLH, Knighton, Roy Miller, Desmond Bryant, hell even DeVito or Sedrick Ellis to maybe fit in somewhere. Desmond Bryant almost made my final cut as a 5 tech. _________________ Respect is not given, it is earned. --Brian Dawkins |

The free agency is optimistic, hard to dislike if we came away with that. Quality pick-ups without going overboard.
I'd likewise be very ecstatic for the first four rounds of the draft. _________________

Not bad. Not sure I like Star though. _________________

280 seems a bit light for a NT, though he is listed as a back up there on the Steelers depth chart... _________________

don't let the 280 listing fool ya… . the steelers only weigh a player, officially, once (when they first get there). Mclendon goes around 325. _________________
