Every time I watch him I feel like I'm watching Cassel only with a bigger arm. _________________

Not a fan at all. No moxy, no leadership, no killer instinct, no pocket presence, not really mobile, misses easy throws. Other than that he's great _________________

Couldn't have said it better. As I've said before, homerism aside, I'd much rather draft Klein and hope he could learn/improve. At least he has some of the intangibles you can't coach. _________________

and if Cassel could make it about 5 years as a starter in this league, that makes Landry Jones and his stronger arm a great pick in round....3? _________________

If I wanted a solid back-up prospect, I'd consider him in the 5th. IMO, that's what he is, and that's about where you should look to take back-up QB's. _________________

| Landry Jones, realistically, is probably a 5th rounder, as suggested directly above me, however, I think he could be taken as early as the 3rd round. There is someone out there desperate enough for a QB to do so, perhaps Buffalo or Arizona if they don't get a QB in the earlier rounds. Perhaps Oakland if they don't draft Geno Smith at #3. |
