TRADE with the Rams
| Quote: | #4 overall
in return for
#16, #46 [2nd], #78 [3rd], #110 [4th]

The Eagles take a little less than trade chart value, but the move is worth it in order to build a quality team moving forward. |

Love everything up to the draft. I literally do not like most of the picks. _________________

Quality realistic Free Agency
I'll take that Trade
I like Xavier, that's what I wanted to do in FFMD but no team would trade up.
Armstead is Fine but I'd rather grab our first safety there and get Long in the 3rd.
Barner I guess would be in a three way competition for 3rd RB...though Chip might keep 4 so it's not an utter waste I guess.
Like it though _________________

Realistic FA, but no quality aside from Keenan Lewis.
Landry is ok. You never know what you'll get from him and he seems like a bit of a diva. Not sure if I want him in our locker room having an effect on the younger kids.
Would love that trade
Love Xavier
Love Armstead
Love Collins
Don't like Amerson as a FS, especially since I think Duke Williams's best position is FS, not SS. Another CB like Leon McFadden, Robert Alford, Jamar Taylor, or Blidi would make a lot of sense since neither Marsh or Boykin deserve to have the 3rd cb spot locked up. McFadden and Alford would be great at covering slot wr's in particular. Could always draft Amerson as a CB as well, but I think he's a pure zone cb and I'd prefer versatile guys who can also play man like Alford and McFadden to cover the slot.
Love Brandon Williams as a NT in any scheme
Like Buchanan, but I think he will really struggle in coverage.
Love Love Duke Williams
Love Vance McDonald, don't think he'll still be there at #129
Don't think we need any more RB's, but ok. Would prefer a C to push Kelce since I think Kelce is average at best, or a big WR
Like Uzzi
Like Klein
nothin special in UDFA _________________

I doubt Lewis takes that little money. Don't see the point in signing Gibson. I don't see Rams pulling the trigger on that trade.
I like most of the players, except Amerson. _________________

I think it would take a longer and/or more expensive deal to sign Landry. He wants $6-7 million per year. _________________

Thanks for the feedback guys. It's tough to mock both FA and the draft, but it's fun to give it a try.
I went with all younger players in FA, that wouldn't command big contracts. No stars, but solid guys who can start to build a new defensive culture with.

I do like what I saw from Alford in the Senior Bowl, and maybe should have stuck with him, although I thought because of taking Rhodes up top that another pure CB would too much that early. _________________

Just because he wants it doesn't mean he'll get it:

| Quote: | | NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline passes along "word" from the final few days of the Combine that free agent SS LaRon Landry is unlikely to receive the contract he's currently seeking. Landry is reportedly seeking roughly $6 million per year, but people inside the league believe he may wind up settling for $3-4 million annually. |

He might settle for that, but he would want more than two years. I think length is very important to him. _________________

How long do you think he'll like it to be? Ideally. _________________

wanna do nasty things to this mock with dat trade and Rhodes Armstead and Collins are great picks in those first 2 rounds.
Buchanan Williams McDonald Barner are great value picks at those spots.
think Amerson and Williams might be reaches in the top 100..
really good mock.. refreshing take to! _________________

It's unrealistic this teams spends 25 million this year on free agents.
Like the draft. _________________

I like FA for the most part. Not splashy, but solid and I think its pretty realistic (minus Keenan Lewis). Don't like Brandon Gibson though. I watch a lot of Rams games cause my Dad is a huge Rams fan so they are my second favorite team. For every good play Gibson makes he makes three awful ones.
Dig the draft. Love Rhodes at 16, Armstead in the second seems to make sense to me, Colins is a good prospect that can probably start at some point this year. Duke Williams is gunna be sick. Overall its all pretty good. Props 808. |

I like the draft a lot.
I'm not sure about Landry though. He just seems like someone who doesn't move well enough. Isn't he generally seen as a liability over the top? Or am I mistaken?
I know FA can't be perfect, but just wanted to double check if my perception on Landry was accurate or not. _________________
