Wow, just heard an interesting stat on NFL Live:
So far, there have been 14 total "$100 Million" contracts all time in the NFL, but the most money a single player has actually made on one of them is Brett Favre with $55M. People get caught up with the large number, but history shows that the player never sees the life of the deal. _________________

Woah, that is interesting
Yea, all of them are set up so that IF that player were to get everything....they'd deserve it. Like I expect Flacco will have to get at least another Super Bowl and reach other high marks for bonuses. _________________

Pretty sure the main reason most guys don't ever reach the top money is because they are cut/traded prematurely. Unless your saying that cap hits aren't necessarily how much the player actually made. I mean Drew Brees will have surpassed $55M in 2014 as he already got $37M right off the bat.
Are you guys saying that when they say Flacco signs $120M deal that it that 120 figure includes more than just base salary and signing bonus? Drew Brees' contract though is definitely truly $100M as his earnings seem to be already set in stone per year. Only has minimal misc bonuses, other than that it's all prorated signing bonus and base salary. This all according to roto and spotrac. _________________

Really hoping we stick to a 4-3. I'm expecting an even better year from 'Meco. Especially if we draft a good NT like Brandon Williams. I also hope Kendricks is working his butt off to get better. The deck is stacked against him with his velociraptor like arms tho. He might ultimately be best off backing up Meco at MLB. _________________

SAM - Jordan
MIKE - Meco (Kendrick is back up)
WILL - Arthur Brown
then again it would kinda be a waste to have drafted Kendricks in the 2nd round only to make him a back up and then spend 2 early picks on LB |

| Really hoping we can move back to the late teens or early twenties and pick up a couple 2nd rounders or something like that just to capitalize on the value there, but it would probably couldn't be done in just one trade back, we would have to move back to 9 or something and then hope someone wants a player that is there which is doubtful. But hey even one trade back would be better than none. |

Why haven't Eagles resigned Colt Anderson yet? _________________

The only big contract the Eagles negotiated to ever see the last year of it was McNabbs 2 contract I believe. Contracts almost never see the last years of the deal in the NFL. _________________

Dwayne Bowe is now the third highest paid WR in the NFL.
KC better hope Alex Smith carries on where he left off. _________________

Someone said it on around the horn I think it was Cowlishaw, his cap hit in 2016 is $29 Million. He'll probably have a different deal starting that season. Restructure and/or extension through some means. _________________

Also the Chiefs tagged Albert. Any chance they pass on Joeckel now? _________________

I think there is a very good chance they will. I could see them going D-line again. _________________
