Peter King's MMQB is a must read today.

Real good article. It also makes me feel good not being a jets fan. That owner is really hanging idzik and Ryan out to dry. What a poorly run organization.

Notice how in the press conference that Revis said he spoke to Barron about #24 but when he held up a jersey at the end of the press conference it was #1. Just my two sense, I don't think Barron wants to give up #24 and Revis is currently undecided about what number he will have.

Couldnt agree more. From what I have heard, Barron is pretty big on his #24. It might not be for sale. But if Revis tried to slip Barron say, $4 million for his number, he might give it up. Cool

We’re going to make a lot of noise, don’t worry about that. This was a great move on my part to come and be a part of this organization.

The intangibles we have here with this team with players like Josh Freeman, Vincent Jackson and Doug Martin – I could go on and on, down the list. We have some great guys and that was one of the things that we looked at. We have some guys here that can already play and I think that makes this the best fit for me.

I haven't gotten a chance to see his press conference yet, but this quite gets me excited. We haven't had a star like Revis in Tampa since Sapp. He oozes confidence, something that our defense has been missing for quite some time.

Speaking of Sapp, I'm sure he's as excited about Revis here as we are.

Just finished watching Revis press conference.

Unbelievable what Mark has done with this team. From the Glazers to Mark to Greg to the players we now have on our roster the future is now and it is bright!

I just watched the Revis press conference....wow.

All I have to say is thank you to the glazer family. Back in the days in the Gruden and Allen days, we all(myself included) complained how cheap the Glazers are because we always signed these dudes off the street.

But looking back now, we signed V.Jax, Nicks, gave Joseph a big contract, signed Goldson, and now Revis.....

The Glazer family is very committed to winning, I mean we have been making more noise than ANY franchise for the past 2 offseasons. They showed us that they are willing to bring anyone here if they help us win at whatever the price because they want us to be a elite talked about franchise.

We have all our pieces in place, and with the draft still coming up we better make some noise this season. I really think that we are capable of not just reaching playoffs, but going deep into them...IDK maybe I am getting too ahead of myself...go bucs

EDIT: Oh and for the love of god, can we please re-pay the Glazers by attending some games this season Laughing

Get on the yearly Buc carousel. Start off trash. Look better by mid season. Win 2-3 games at the end of the season. Get the 7th pick. Have what most fans consider a great draft and free agency. Start off trash again. Rinse and repeat

Darrelle Revis throws out the first pitch at the Yankees-Rays game.

A good read on the impact of the caliber of a player in Revis. Goldson will be helping off the #2 CB and slots while Barron should be playing close to the LOS shutting the run game down. If I'm playing TB, I'd have to say attacking our linebackers would be the best way to beat us in the air. LaVonte David and Foster will be attacked early on IMO on first and 2nd down.

I think David will do rather well in pass defense. It's Foster and the starting SLB that I'm more worried about.
