Let's keep all rumors here as the start of the new season approaches. Anyone signed may go in a different thread. But anyone here for a visit or supposed interest, drop those nuggets here.

While we're talking Dallas, have heard it might sign DT Amobi Okoye as a backup. Marinelli likes him. Rod wanted Melton, but Chi franchised

So, at least we did want Melton!

Safety Corey Lynch could be low dollar veteran FA target, then draft one...played for Rich Bisaccia at SD & TB...part-time starter last 3y

If Rod M. likes him I'll take him.

He hasn't expressed any interest in wanting to take football seriously. That's why he was cut by Chicago.

Lynch. Ya know. Cause we are the 2002 Bucs Defence. We need our own Hard Hitting white boy in the secondary. Especially one with the name Lynch.

Okoye is too small, and doesn't have enough strength at the point of attack to be disruptive enough in the defensive line. Watched him spare the NFL to death for 3 years before the Texans cut him.

I would take Lissemore over Okoye any day of the week. If Marinelli liked Okoye so much why did the Bears cut him. Okoye is JAG.

Lynch.

I think he's that dude who played for Appalachian State in college who blocked Michigans game tying field goal in that memorable upset.

Hes still pretty young, right? Wasnt he drafted at like ~19-20? Maybe he can bulk up a little as he ages.

He was the youngest NFL player ever drafted b/c he went to college at like 17 or something

He's 25 now (26 in June) and was 19 when drafted (20 by the time the season started)

He's probably just now entering his physical maturity but his mental maturity has been his issue - not sure where that stands, but I'd think R-Mari would know better than many

You can spin it all you want, but this is an underwhelming signing if it happens. And his best season was his rookie season when he was 20 years old.

Yeah, Okoye really doesn't strike me as an impact signing. He might be decent as a depth guy though
