The Jaguars could use the best CB in football. You have the cap space.

Here is the offer:

Darrelle Revis, Jets' second( #39) and 2014 first round pick for #2 pick.

Jets grab Geno Smith. I think Geno's value will start to increase as the draft gets closer. He is the best QB for Marty Mornhinweg's WCO.

I don't think that's giving the Jags enough value.

I'll throw in Mark Sanchez to compete for the starting QB job.

Nope. Not happening. Neglecting the fact that the Jets would be flat out robbing the Jaguars in that trade, we'd be taking on a massive contract for a CB coming off an injury when our GM believes in building through the draft and doesn't want to be spending this offseason.

That trade values Revis, coming off injury, with that contract, at 28 years old at the start of next season, as equal to the #5 pick in the draft.

If Caldwell made that trade, I would stop following the team until he was fired.

Not even if he's released.

DEAL !!! The Jets 2014 1st round won't be a top 10 pick but you can use it to go get Jadeveon Clowney. We'll fly Revis out for a physical.

Good doing business with you.

Seriously. I don't know why everyone would be against this. Seems like a steal.

Pass. Jets can make a deal with Philly or Detroit for their picks without trading the #9 pick. There are plenty of CB needy teams. Rookies are no guarantee of success.

Because you're valuing a 28 year old CB, coming off major surgery, who is being paid a ton, yet always complains for more money as equal to the 5th pick in the draft. He's not worth anywhere near that much. It's highway robbery.

And the part where our 'rebuilding' team doesn't have a 1st round pick this year?

No thanks.
