Look at what Pioli said he would do if he was still here:
Tag Bowe, let Albert walk, and draft Joeckel.
Look at what John Dorsey did:
Sign Bowe to 5 years, sign Colquitt, and tag Albert. And now that we have our starting QB we can truly go BPA in the draft like our GM likes to do. Great day to be a Chiefs fan. Can't wait for the draft now.

I think we could still hear of a long term deal with Albert in the near future, if not. This buys Stephenson another year to learn, and gets us to another level in the salary cap.
And I agree, it's hard to say KC won't take BPA now, or that at least we can. Plus, now if we say we might take Geno...it's a little more believable.

Think Dorsey saw that and thought...
Ok yeah, he got fired. Let's try to do the opposite?
I'm not saying we don't still take a tackle, but it seems less likely. Though on a tag, Albert could slide inside, but that is an expensive guard.

Wow, that is a lot of money for Colquitt. But he's ranked in the top 20 all time. Almost tied the league record for punts inside the 20 last year. And I think he'll only be the highest paid punter for a little bit longer before Lechler signs somewhere.
The question is, how much money did we show Bowe?
