Good for Bowe. Glad to see hard work pay off amd him stick with the team that drafted him. He's worth it. _________________

So less than expected. I'd put money on the fact that having an improved QB impacted his bottom line. _________________

| Great job Chiefs. Tagging Albert, Signing Bowe, trading for Smith and have the #1 pick. Love what they did. |

What is KC's ceiling with such an approach? _________________

Super Bowl, but then that's everybody's ceiling. _________________

I have a feeling this going to excite and motivate Bowe to work extra hard this offseason. No, Alex Smith isn't an elite QB but he isn't going to throw the ball 3-5 feet above Bowe's head every other play. Andy Reid's offense should also excite Bowe. Looking at how hard Bowe has competed despite our team sucking I'm not worried about him getting paid and getting lazy. Seems very against everything we've seen so far from Bowe.
I just can't wait for the draft. Hoping we draft Ansah or Jordan at this point. Don't think Milliner is worth a top 5 pick. Ansah's potential is unlimited. Since he is raw he could develop and rotate in some this year and replace Hali next year. Hali did a great job of bringing Houston along and Houston and Hali could bring along another pass rusher. I know Hali wouldn't be too happy about it but the fact is that he has about two prime years left at best. He won't offer much as a player after then.
I'm worried about drafting a D-Lineman after our horrid history with drafting D-Linemen in the first round. _________________

No reason they can't be challenging for a WC. Didn't they lose a couple D players last year to injury too, who will be coming back? |

Its about time Bowe got his deal and Andy Reid is smart to keep him around. Good move for KC. _________________

Their chances of getting into the playoffs are much better now. If they can get a solid impact out of the #1 pick that will be a big boost as well. When you get into the playoffs anything can happen. If Kyle Williams doesn't fumble two punts then Smith would have led the 49ers to the superbowl. In KC he now has a pretty good supporting cast looking at the O-Line, Charles, and the go to WR in Bowe. Reid is a proven coach with a fresh start.
Our team could be energized by all of this and practice hard, play hard, and buy into our new coaches and management. This shows the other players the new organization is committed to taking care of our players and being loyal. Pioli already said he would tag Bowe, let Albert walk and draft Joeckel.
No way we shouldn't have made these moves. Can't let talent walk just to lower our ceiling. Keeping Colquitt was huge as well. Can't forget we signed arguably the best ST coach out there in Toub, who loves Colquitt. _________________

Okay, but let's look at it this way: what would you say, percentagewise, is the chance of KC winning the Super Bowl in the next 5 years with this core going forward? _________________
