Picks are used as "bids" in rounds 6 and 7. _________________

For Example:
If we like John Doe - QB - Cadaver U
We would bid our 6th round pick #181 to "draft" him.
If another team likes him better they can bid a higher pick. It works in the same way as free agency. If a bid stands for 12 hours the player is then drafted with that pick. _________________

so when it comes to this bidding thing, do we want to put our bids in early or wait until late to peruse what other teams have bid?
or will every team be waiting to bid at the end time frame anyway? _________________

Thats just a questionable way of doing things.
Do they want round 6 and round 7 to last over a week? _________________

if you respect Mayock's QB evaluation abilities, he had this to say about Nassib:
Mayock: “Ryan Nassib is the guy that people are going to like a lot. He kind of reminds me a little bit of the ascension of Kurt Cousins last year, and the ascension of Andy Dalton the year before that. They were smart, tough and the more the coaches get involved, they see the kid's work ethic and how much he understands of the game, they're going to start to trust him. And with coaches, trust is a big thing and teams are going to trust Ryan Nassib.
“He'll get on the board, and talk games, and talk fast protections, and coaches are going to really like Ryan Nassib. He's got good, physical attributes, not great but good, physical attributes and all the intangibles, toughness, intelligence, and work ethic. He's going to start to quietly climb boards between the Combine and the draft. Outside of him, it's going to be hard to figure [who will].”
Mayock didn’t say how high he thinks Nassib could rise, but knowing he has him as his fourth quarterback in his top five it would seem possible that Nassib could move to the top of round two or perhaps even the bottom of round one.

I like Kerwynn though. |
Forgot about the hyphen. There are still some interesting DBs like Terry Hawthorne, Cooper Taylor, Micah Hyde and Steve Williams. _________________
