Tennessee's Tyler Bray recorded the highest peak ball speed of any quarterback at the Combine, coming in at 59MPH.
It's not surprising. Bray has an absolute cannon for an arm and is a worthwhile mid- to late-round project. His footwork, accuracy, decision making, and intangibles all need major work. Bray would be a nice fit as a third-stringer in a vertical offense. The Ravens, Giants, and Falcons would all make sense. Mar 3 - 8:54 PM

I'd draft this kid as project between the 4th and 6th's rounds. IMO it is a bit easier to try and jerk a guys head out of his rear than to try to coach up a guy with limited talent and good intangibles.

Great example Tyler Bray vs Colt McCoy

Highest peak ball speed huh.

Wink

I still don't know if i'd take him at all.

Maybe the 6th.

There are half a dozen QB's i'd take as a project before him though.

Seems like a [inappropriate/removed]

I think most, including myself, would disagree with you.

I can throw a baseball 88 mph....doesn't make me a good pitcher

Same with Bray, he needs a lot more than arm strength to succeed in the NFL

I think Bray is worth taking 4-5th if you don't have a Brandon Weeden.

Unless Norv & Chud like him.

I would not be surprised if Haslam likes him being for TN....

Any QB taken fourth round or later is going to have a glaring area of weakness. It could be arm strength, ability to read defenses, attitude, work ethic, poor coaching, playing subpar opponents,..etc. I guess it comes down to which of these attributes are ones that our organization find the most correctable. I'm curious to see whom the Browns decide to take in the later rounds.

How dare you post any factual evidence that suggests Brandon Weeden led a statistical category. The Weeden haters will attack you!!!
