We all know how Reid fancies lineman in the early rounds, well Miami is in need due to Jake long wanting 11mil a yr and his back injuries he hasn't played as well as the first few years after he was drafted. Having tannehill and believing he is a franchise qb I'd think they'd look hard at getting joeckel by trading up and giving their qb his protection blanket from college. Giving up a 2nd and kc throwing in J. Baldwin in the deal, the trade would be KC 1st overall 2013 and J. Baldwin WR for Miami 1st 2nd & 3rd the 3rd could be for this yr or next. They get a franchise tackle for years and Baldwin who I believe can use a fresh start elsewhere but is talented but unproven. KC at 7 can grab Warmack OG to help Albert on the left side & give Jeff Allen a few years to improve.

No thx id rather see what balwin can do with another qb.
Saw baldwin too many times wide open last year waiving for the ball as cassle stared the other way.

Maybe if we traded 1st, got their 2nd and 3rd, plus next years 1st and a 3rd

I think balwin is gonna step up this year and we see y we drafted him to begin with

Yeah he was wide open a lot and cassel is to blame of course but he isn't very fast and barely gets any seperation. He also dropped a bunch of balls up to this point, getting anything close to what your asking is nuts.

Thats why i would just rather ride it out and see what he developes into.
When we drafted him, i was most excited about his ability to be a red zone threat ala plaxico burres jump balls--it amazed me how we never even tried throwin it up to him in the rz. what horriable coaching and qb play over the past years!!! ugh im so glad we have moved on
GO CHIEFS!!!

I was exciting also when he was drafted due to many comparing him to Larry Fitzgerald but haven't seen it yet but he's not all to blame but yet haven't seen it.

hmmm...Baldwin had ZERO drops last year. He's plenty fast enough, separation is his worst quality but the fact is that's ok when you're 6-5 230 with a 40+ inch verticle. He was open enough for a quality QB to get him plenty of catches.

The trade might be pretty good for the most part, but then leaves us maybe needing to draft 2 WR's.

Put this in perspective...Larry Fitzgerald had similar issues at QB this year and because of it managed only 798 yards or about 575 fewer yards (42% decrease) than a normal season. Baldwin had 320 yards. How can anybody give up or criticize. Giving Baldwin a 42% increase isn't a great season, but consider he was the #2 and hardly looked at at all and you see what i'm getting at.

Actually just forget the numbers and just focus on what a putrid QB situation did to the best WR in the game. If it can affect Fitz that much, Baldwin had absolutely no chance with those QB's/coaching staff. We don't know anymore about his game than the day he was drafted out of Pitt.

2013 will basically be his rookie season, except that he won't have to adjust to the speed of the game and isn't completely inexperienced. For the first time he'll have actual NFL QB's and coaching.

I loved how our WR coach looked while working with the guys at the combine. Hoping someone new really helps our WRs. I'm just not sure Sirianni was worth anything at all.
