That call in the 3rd was awful, glad they were still able to win in OT. Saturday Hawks vs the Defending champion Kings! Should be a great series I'm stoked!

It's a fantastic avatar.

Kings dont even compare to Detroit.
After watching the Blackhawks game yesterday, I could see us winning this in 5.

LA is solid and has the best goalie in the league. And they haven't lost a home game in the playoffs in their past 6 rounds. I think the Hawks are the better team and that the Detroit series really woke the team up, but LA is far from a pushover, and FWIW most were saying "Hawks in 5" after game 1 against Detroit too.

The Hawks need more traffic in front of Quick. They had a ton of great opportunities, rebounds and tosses in front that needed someone there to cash in.

For the record, I never would have thought we could beat Detroit in 5, they are our bane, and I am half torn to see them head to the east, because they bring the best out of us. But The kings on the other hand are in a differnent league, and not in a good way. Game 3 will be tellng, but if we can shake up the best goalie in town tonight(quick) I think it will be 5. Time will tell.. Game Time!!!!!!

Great third period, but the other two really sucked minus Bickell's goal with 8 seconds left or whatever it was. Quick was fantastic tonight.

I still think we win it in 5.

Quick was also largely untested tonight. 20 shots won't cut it.

I like how that idiot Shanahan says Keith dropped his glove when Carter is the one that knocked it off with a slash and then slashed him again. But I am fine with the one game suspension.

Bickell has been unbelievable. He ties it up with a goal in the first - 1-1.

Anyone know what our cap situation is looking like this offseason? What are the chances that guys like Bickell and Stalberg return?

Pretty unlikely IMO - the cap is going down $6M next year, and Toews, Kane and Crawford are all up (and probably due raises) after 2014.

I still think at least one of Kane/Toews goes.

Stalberg is gone at this point, Bickell they can probably re-sign if he doesn't want a lot of money which might be hard after this post season.
