No evidence of this, but if you follow him on social media, his "Dyme Life" brand promotion is kinda out there sometimes, and I think he pulls a lot of younger guys into it.
That being said, his clothing line is sick lol. | A friend of mine is his graphic designer. _________________

KINDA? Thats all the guy talks about.
My ending with DJ as a Broncos came this offseason. I loved him on the field but his off-the-field stuff is bothering me. I know a player can do whatever they want but this year has bothered me to no end.
After a season where he didnt play for the first 6 weeks, then comes back and rarely sees the field, you'd think he would focus this offseason to getting better and workout as much as possible. Apparently not. Every time I check into twitter, hes somewhere in the Caribbean or Vegas and talking about the partying hes doing.
Now on the other hand, you see a guy like Derek Wolfe saying every single day "Workout time" or "#TeamMule" or "If youre not getting better, youre getting worse" stuff. This is a rookie that tasted the playoffs for the first time and wants more. He gets it. DJ doesnt. _________________

Too bad. In a different life, with a different head on his shoulders, DJ could have been a truly elite LB. Especially if he hadn't kept getting moved around all those years under Shanny. I believe it was Madden who once said that he was the only player he'd ever evaluated who could have gone straight to the NFL from high school. Not that Madden is the final word on such things, but it speaks to DJ's natural ability for someone like him to say that. But instead, he's just an aging, overpaid (but definitely talented/above average) WILL with 2 DUI's. _________________

I think the higher ups are a little worried that DJ can be a bad influence on some of the younger guys. I have no evidence of this either, just a gut feeling I have.
All in all though I think it's his $8m cap number and the fact that WW took his job that are the deciding factors in his pending departure. _________________ big_palooka:
