Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

Please leave some potential targets you like for the 6th round pick and for UDFA. No codes necessary anymore.

You should try to get Hamilton, Rodgers, Gillislee, Armstrong in that order with our 6th round pick. I think the other guys will be around in UDFA.

EDIT: forgot a guy that I want- Zeke Motta, S, ND

Who should we bid on with our 6th rounder?

I think the options should be:

Christine Michael RB Texas A&M
Cobi Hamilton WR Arkansas
Montori Hughes DT Tennessee-Martin
Jawan Jamison RB Rutgers
Mike Gillislee RB Florida
Terry Hawthorne CB Illinois
Will Davis CB Utah State
Brandon McGee CB Miami (Fla.)
Josh Evans FS Florida
Conner Vernon WR Duke
Zeke Motta FS Notre Dame

Those are in order for me.

Seems like Hamilton is our shared BPA here followed by Gillislee. Where would you rank Motta there?

1. Hamilton
2. Rodgers
3. Gillislee
4. Motta
5. Armstrong

That's my list for the 6th round pick. I'd be perfectly fine with any of them though.

Can we grab a fast corner?? Playing against chip kellys offense, I want enough corners to be sure to cover the fast system.

We have DRC, Hosley and Alford who are all extremely fast, but we will bring in a couple of fast UDFA corners if you like.

it will be nice to keep fresh legs against their system. Just a fast boom or bust type player

Don't really see a guy like that available right now that would be value for us. Maybe Terry Hawthorne? But I have guys ranked higher than him.

We won the bid on Cobi Hamilton:

Quote:
With the 179th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select:

Cobi Hamilton - WR - Arkansas

Cobi is a versatile receiver who can do many things for us on the field. He has good size and speed to beat the defense over the top, but also isn't afraid to go down the middle. In fact, he has very good ability to pick up yards after the catch. With his size, speed, and ability to pick up yards after the catch, this wasn't a hard pick for us. He has the potential to be a very good weapon in our receiving core with Hakeem Nicks, Rueben Randle and Stedman Bailey.

Welcome Cobi Hamilton to the New York Giants!

Cut these guys:

Quote:
Stephen Goodin (G)
Martin Parker (DT)
Michael Jasper (DT)
Bryant Browning (G)
Larry Donnell (TE)

Don't see how they had even a remote chance of making the roster. We can bring in guys at those positions via UDFA.
