Sigh. There were report around combine time that chiefs were high on Alex smith and Luke Joeckel, looks like were heading that way.

And ProFootballTalk is reporting we have tagged Albert.
Beyond happy right now. Colquitt will resign because of Toub. I don't care if we overpayed some for Smith, it allowed us to lock up Bowe for 5 years. Can't explain how excited I am.

While I like Colquitt, and I hoped we'd sign them all. I think this is the best option right now. And if we were honestly "racing" to get the deals done. We could easily get a deal done with BA in the near future and the tag is moot.
Also, Punters are easier to find, and I don't anticipate Colquitt being signed immediately as the first FA off the market.
