Ravens agree to a long term deal with Dumervil, He is a good pass rusher but they are gonna need much more than him

im glad we have two great pass blocking tackles...

it sucks they got Dumervil but he isnt the great run defender

thats a big reason why im not too upset bout it. they are also moving Ngata to full time NT

How is no one upset about this? We take Kruger, cool. Then they upgrade. Dumervil and Suggs, twice a year.

I see Dumervil as a pass rushing specialist who is a 1 trick pony, I feel our tackles can effectively handle that trick. Dumervile also has a history of not staying healthy.

He's missed five games since he was drafted in 06.

Dumervil missed the entire year a few years back....

Incorrect, sir.

http://www.nfl.com/player/elvisdumervil/2495832/profile

He was injured recently, but didn't miss much time.

quick question, what was his season stats for 2010, werent they monstrous or something? I cant remember

It appears as I am incorrect, as I cannot count apparently.

2010 was the year he missed with a torn pectoral muscle.

Oh crap...Ditch was wrong about something?

Mark this on the calendar. I think the Mayans Prophesized something about this.

What he thinks now or what he thought then?

I would assume if he liked it then that his mind may have changed by now. FYI I didn't have a problem with that deal then except for it being with the Ravens. I think we should treat them like the Bengals treat us, as a non trade partner.

you have no idea how many arguments we had about that deal, even as recently as 2009/2010 over so many beers and so many games of worms for xbox 360

Wimbley Ngata Oshinowo deal, thankyouverymuch.

I acquiesce to common knowledge now. But I carried that torch longer than anybody except Mrs. Oshinowo or Mrs. Wimbley.

Really, I have just always hated Ngata.

Agreed, can't wait to see him trying to catch up with Josh Gordon. Always been overrated because of his draft position and combine numbers.

PFF had him rated very highly in his last two seasons at FS (2010/11). I don't think their metrics include draft slots or 40 times.

All I'll say is, there was about two weeks when the Browns had a better FS than the Ravens. Now that's over.
