Hey, I'm running with Washington in a mock draft and am looking for some input from you guys.
What are their biggest needs? I know the secondary needs to be addressed, but where else are they looking to improve or add talent?
Who would you like to see them take? Anybody hoping they trade up, and if so, who would you want them to be targeting?
I've already got my eye on some safeties and cornerbacks, as a Bronco fan, but don't know your team well enough to really identify its weaknesses.
Thanks! |

As you stated already, we obviously have a huge need (more like needs) in the secondary. We definitely need more depth at OLB if we lose Rob Jackson. OL depth is also a need. TE could be if Fred Davis doesn't come back. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

In order:
RT
FS
CB
ILB
WR (if Moss is cut)
SS
TE (I think Fred Davis resigns though)
Those would be the positions I would look for. _________________

I added some names that might be availible options for us. | i agree with some of what STAP wrote. Obviously though depending on what pick you are on the players you will be selecting from could change. I doubt Trufant will be there in round 2 for us and there is a good chance Alford won't be either. I think FS is our biggest need! Then cb, then Rt.
1. S- Elam, Eric Reid, Phillip Thomas or DJ Swearinger
2. CB- Darius Slay, Jamar Taylor, David Amerson
3. RT- Menelik Watson, Kyle Long, Dallas Thomas, Terron Armstrong
If you go one and not the other in round2, then go bpa in the position of need in the next round.
After we get those 3 positions filled with good prospects in rounds 2, 3 and 4. Then we need more another SS to compete a ILB and 3-4 OlB for depth. A speedy RB for change of pace and depth and a WR who can be a return specialist.
If you can get those with our two 5th, our 6th and 7th you've had a great draft in most redskins fans eyes. _________________

Thanks, everybody. I had a general idea of where to go near the top, but felt lost afterward.
I'll keep you guys updated in here on how it goes. Thanks again. |

Eh. When you have a safety tandem like that, who needs corners. HAHA _________________

I think Elam would give our secondary the best chance to fulfill its potential and the least help or patience as a rookie. I think the redskins need to be proactive, maybe 10-15 selections before pk.51, somewhere in that range. Vaccaro to is still the fav and safeties arent really in demand this year.
I could live with Trading that 51 and a 3rd for like #37
Draft Elam, in the 4th honey badge
If impossible, Xavier rhodes at 51. Pthomas with the 3rd rd
Those back end 4th, 6th and 7th rdrs are all expendable to me. Id dump all of them to get 2/4 those players. tjm _________________
