Pretty much a given at this point, as much as I don't like it. _________________

This would put us right around the salary cap limit. _________________

Good thing our secondary is among the most loaded in the NFL as far as talent goes. Shouldn't hurt us. _________________

I sense some sarcasm...I could be wrong though
Cornerback has to be the pick in round one or you have to look at Asomugha,Woodson, or even Sean Smith from Miami (cheap)
Captain, Thomas, and Norman, cannot begin this season as starters, our secondary would get burned and burned fast. _________________

uhh really..?
was hyped as a 1st rounder to start the year. came off a knee injury and had a down year fell to the 2nd. and had a good combine so now he is back in the 1st somehow. too bad games arent like a combine, you dont have to play on wr and against the run (which this guy cant do).
dont want this guy at all. _________________

You are kidding right? I mean, without Gamble, we have: Josh Norman, Josh Thomas, Captain Munnerlyn IF we resign him, Charles Godfrey, Haruki Nakumara.
That is probably the worst grouping of CB/S in the league. We don't have a single starting caliber CB on the roster.
We need to draft the best CB available in either Round 1 or 2, and we Also need to sign a starting CB in Free agency.
Based on our salary cap situation, i'm thinking of somebody like Dominique Rodgers Cromartie or Mike Jenkins. I don't see how we can afford anyone much butter than that. _________________

We won't be that bad off, he only played 4 games last year and our secondary pretty good.
I think this all but says we'll take Kenny Vaccarro in the 1st. _________________

Obviously we're not loaded from a namesake's perspective, but some of our best defensive games last year came with guys like DJ Campbell, James Dockery, and Colin Jones getting lots of playing time. I don't think cutting Gamble changes anything in terms of our first or second round options. _________________

The knee doesn't concern me. It happened in 2011 not 2012. He has played a full season at a high level after the injury so no concerns there. This is not a Brandon Hogan situation. As far as not being able to play WRs and against the run idk. Maybe we're watching two different players. I think Rhodes is the type of corner we need for Julio Jones, Roddy White and Vincent Jackson. _________________
