Why cut Scheffler? He is a pretty good receiver and could at worst net us a pick or two _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

I'd feel sick to my stomach if we went in with ou backup QBs being an UDFA one year removed and a 7th rounder. _________________

Just a couple of things that I think I can safely eliminate happening:
1) Mayhew has said he's interested in bringing back 9 of our free agents, so we aren't going to resign as many as you have us keeping. I mean it'd be weird for him to say he wants 9 back, then sign 13 of them.
2) He's also said he has no intention of restructuring Suh's contract, so that's not likely to happen unless they need to clear up some cap space in the middle of the season.
Free agency looks okay, though it looks like there's a good chance the Texans will franchise Quin. I'm also not sure where Massaquoi fits because whoever they sign as a 4th receiver is going to need to play special teams, and I'm fairly sure Massaquoi doesn't.
On to the draft:
Joeckel would be awesome at 5, but I think that's wishful thinking. Either way, they could go with Eric Fisher there and it wouldn't mess up your mock at all.
I'm pretty much good with the rest of it, except Rodgers. I just don't get it. I'd rather bring back Drew Stanton to replace Shaun Hill for $1.25 million or something like that. He at least has experience and has shown he can win a game if he has to come in and play. Rodgers doesn't give us much of an upgrade over Kellen Moore. Why not just take a punter or someone who can at least play special teams? _________________

You guys are right about the back up QB. Makes sense to sign Stanton though I think if Stafford goes down you're screwed anyways.
As for the 9 free agents, I think he meant he's going to pursue those ones the heaviest not that he is going to limit himself to that number.

"And there's a bunch of other guys, and we're in contact with them. But there's some guys that we're very focused on, and I won't prioritize it. But that's where we are." |

Good point about free agency, I guess I didn't see the second part about getting in contract with the other 14 guys. _________________
