Solid first two selections for the Steelers. However, I don't like Bray at all in the third. I don't want any QB before the fourth round. Someone like OLBs Collins, Thomas, or Lemonier or a safety like Rambo or McDonald right there. Then in the fifth a QB like Jones can be selected. I'm not that high on Ball but he's a good pick in the fourth. _________________

Given the board, this is how I would have it shake out for the Bengals:
1) Kenny Vacarro, S
2a) Justin Hunter, WR
2b) Sio Moore, LB
3) Jaime Collins, LB
4) Reid Fragle, OT
5) Knile Davis, RB
6) Williams Gholston, DE _________________

Bottom Line - We may have been blown away by his interveiw, he may have been the best guy on the whiteboard, said all the right things at the right times charmed the pants of every Cardinals representative in the room at the time, but when you turn on the tape Bruce Arians will take one look at it and say "This guy does not have the arm to do what I want to do" and he will be crossed off the board.
Barkely to AZ is not happening, period, and especially not in the first round. |
I think you're saying that more out of hope, than expectation.
Ah, the perennial problem of mocking Matt Barkley to anybody. Look, I don't disagree with your logic - certainly not at this stage. I've got a lot of problems with Matt Barkley. But, as none of the pack have emerged for themselves, I think he's going to put on a show at a scripted pro-day and catch a lot of rising stock come draft time. His measurables were far better than anticipated, a lot of analysts are saying he has an arm that can make all the throws. I think he'll go in top 10 - he's the one QB prospect who'll dominate the whiteboard and when you look at the flaws other prospects have, I think that counts for an awful lot.
Not saying I like him as a QB, but teams overpay for the position and I think as a 'guru' of the position Arians will want his own guy in there. |

Hate it for GB. Not a Hankins fan but wouldn't mind Bernard. Washington is quite a freak but no hussle and effort, so no.
I'd go Kawann Short, Robert Woods, Corey Lemonier, Earl Wolff, Mike Gillislee, Joseph Fauria, Stansley Maponga, |

Good effort. Some interesting picks that are possible, like the Cards and Bears in the first. I think it is funny when people say that there is no way Arizona selects a QB. If Barkleyo impresses, they will take him. Arians knows what a rookie QB can do for a team.
QBs start climbing the board like crazy after free agency.
I wonder if your boy Ryan Mallet gets any love? I hear the Seahawks want to keep Flynn, and I do not think there are any starters to be had in free agency.
I also wonder why nobody is talking about a trade for Yates in Houston? He did all that Flynn did on a worse offense. |

I like the Vaccaro pick but I don't know if the Bengals will take a safety in 1.
Not a Montgomery fan.
Lacy there I'm good with, especially with also getting Barner.
Love the Collins pick.
The rest is ok. |
i agree. With Allen sitting at 21, I'd be tempted to take him in the first and Elam or Cypren in the second. Love Collins, Porter and Barner in those spots. And the draft wouldn't be complete without at least one GA Bulldog. |

Love all the players you have the Saints taking. If we can get a starter OLB in FA I would love the draft to play out like this! _________________

Yeah, mocking the QB is next to impossible - just think there are more reasons he goes to the Cards than anyone else. |
