Can't believe I forgot about perhaps my biggest prospect crush in Datone Jones. I won't be surprised if he ends up being a top 20 pick.

I think he'll end up in Dallas. That's why I'm crushing on Hunt right now.

Tats he is raw and he is 26. But he is so versatile and remember that everyone thought JJ Watt was extremely raw. He ended up being pretty good.

Watt is thicker which allowed him to play inside a lot more in passing situations. Hunt will be relegated to End only his first year or two

I really like Datone Jones but since he has already been "pimped", I will go with Markus Wheaton. He is obviously not the best WR in the class but I will not be happy if we use our 1st rounder on one of them. If we can pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd, he is exactly what we need to help out the passing attack.

By the way, if Desmond Trufant is still available we should forget any ideas of a pass rusher. He is exactly whats needed at nickel.

Actually, forget what I said. We should move up and take him. Take care of DL through later round picks and free agency.

Trade up in the first round for a NICKEL cornerback? Not sure if you're being serious.

First off, do you realize how often a defense is in Nickel coverage these days? Secondly, he's not a "Nickel cornerback". Thats just where he would play initially if he was drafted. Obviously he can be more than that.

Anyways, one of the drafting techniques that I think works very well in the NFL is to always strengthen your strengths. Part of the reason why is because a young guy (with potential) will be able to benefit so much by being part of such a competitive and elite group. So yes, getting a guy that takes pride in man-to-man coverage skills and is an elite athlete will be a great step for the Seahawks in this passing league.

I'm willing to bet getting a guy like Trufant plugging an important hole will have more of an effect on pass defense than getting another rookie pass rusher.

If we're gonna be trading in this draft, it needs to be down...not up. Especially not for a corner. Bigger needs at OG, UT and arguably LB/WR as well

The only CB prospect worth taking in the first round for our scheme is Jonathan Banks. However, we wont take him as we have 4 CBs on our roster that are clones of him. And there is no way we take a nickel CB in the 1st. There are lots of good nickel CBs in the late rounds, so im not too worried about it.

I forgot about Markus Wheaton. I would love to grab him in the 2nd or 3rd. He had an incredible combine and his stock almost seemed to drop Confused He would give us that great deep threat and separation that we have needed, even if he doesn't have the size we are looking for.

I like Xavier Rhodes more than Banks. Rhodes is the perfect fit across from Sherman.
