Care to explain the Manuel pick. The Bills do need a QB, and have had interest in Manuel, but have stated that they will stick to their board and not reach. _________________

Good chance Manuel isn't on board for Bills next pick. I don't have a beef with Manuel at 8 |

Really just a gut feeling, to be honest. He has tons of potential, and has the ability to run the option. Him, Spiller, and Fred could be scary. _________________

Bad pick for the Vikings.
CB is really not a first round need for Minnesota. Either a WR, MLB, or NT is about 99% likelihood of being the pick.
Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter, or Arthur Brown (my preference) would all make more sense there. |

Safety isn't the Colts biggest need but I really want Matt Elam. _________________ Giants

Solid pick but we're not passing on the best DT in the draft(Star) for the 3rd best. _________________

Waiting to see what Star's heart condition is like. For now I'm ranking him as the #2 DT to be safe. I agree that Star is the best DT in the draft. _________________

Now I like Trufant as a prospect, but CB really isnt a need for the Vikings so I am not sure why they would go CB in round one. Chris Cook, Antoine Winfield and Josh Robinson area good enough starting trio compared to some of the crud starting at WR and LB. Throw in OG, S and one technique DT as bigger needs as well. CB will probably be addressed in the mid rounds, depth was the real issue last year.
Now I know Winfield is old and Cook has troubles staying on the field, you dont take a player in round one for just in case reasons. That is where depth needs to come in play.
Further, the VIkings run a lot of zone coverage. Taking a CB in round one just isnt practical for what the Vikes require of there CBs. Most round one CBs are taken high because of there ability to play in man coverage. Taking a more suited man coverage first rd CB and having them play in a zone heavy scheme, that just doesnt seem like a logical allocation of resources. _________________
