| Quote: | DeMarcus "Dee" Milliner will be joining the secondary of our new look Philadelphia Eagles defense. The 2012 All-American, from back-to-back National Champion Alabama, is a lock down CB with a Leon Sandcastle like confidence to his game. The 6 foot, 200 pound Milliner turned in an impressive combine, blazing a 4.31 40-yard dash. His 36 inch vertical and 32 inch arms will come in handy when defending some of the best WRs in the NFL. His game tape easily matches up with his combine performance, clearly pointing out that he is no workout warrior, but a talented football player possessing awesome athleticism. With our team having traded away Nnamdi Asomugha and letting Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie walk in Free Agency, the need for a #1 CB was glaring, and Milliner fits the bill perfectly. Mr. Milliner will arrive in the City of Brotherly Love with high expectations, as he is one of the highest drafted CBs over the last decade, but we know he will live up to the hype.
The Philadelphia Eagles are happy to welcome Dee Milliner to the team.

What happens if we cut a player signed in the shark tank? Are there any cap ramifications? _________________

Thanks guys.
I guess we could just cut Antelope and take back the cap space. I have no issue with that. _________________

Not disappointing though after his combine. _________________

Not that it really matters, but whenever I go into FFMD discussion thread I just see everyone criticizing our moves and trolololing at us while praising other teams for having amazing picks. Have we really been the joke of ffmd to everyone? Wasn't my favorite pick as I'm more of a "build from the inside out, starts in the trenches" kind of guy, but our starting corners were going to be Marsh and Toler... So I don't see how it's anything less than a solid pick, let alone a bad pick.
Only thing that bothers me is that we probably could have gotten Milliner in the 8-12 range, but I'm guessing we tried to trade down and got no decent offers. _________________

They just don't know enough about what each team has done. Posters I like have liked the pick....but on both ends of it I don't really care what they say. Like most people they seem to forget we have one of the leagues best LTs coming back.
I did try to trade down...no one was biting....also I really think he would've gone next to Detroit.
We definitely had a slight lean towards Star in here...it's just with his heart as an unknown and the players we added up front...I just thought Dee added more value in the end.
If it tells you how torn I was I had this made first....

I trust you kilty lol. Taking Star definitely would've been a gamble though I agree, for all we know in the next few days, god forbid, they could announce that he has a chronic disease or permanent irreversible damage. _________________

Trust in Kilt.
It's his ship anyways, he can rock it the way he wants (GM is a tough job). _________________

I know this isn't really over yet, but honestly, I don't think anyone on this Eagles FFMD staff has any right to ever criticize an NFL GM (even Howie Roseman) ever again.
