This is just screaming Maybin 2.0 and I dont want to risk it. 1 year wonders are hard to figure out and the bills need a hit at 8. the bills are in more of a consistent player not a huge risk high reward at DE

Makes me want Ezekiel Ansah even more (though I doubt he is available)

If I cant get Patterson (and assume we wont get Milliner) then the crazy athletic Ansah is my favorite..
I'm really afraid of work out warriors. I know he did well the week of the senior bowl but I'd like to see a bit more production on picks that high.

If were gonna go hybrid athletic freaks than gimme Dion Jordan still. Plug him in both defenses and IMO he has lower bust possibilities

Exactly. Combine numbers should be used for nothing more than breaking a tie between 2 equally rated players. The games are played in pads, not shorts, so you want to focus on players with proven effectiveness on the field.

1. Maybin had a very good career at PSU.. He was a top 15 pick even before the combine..

2. Ansah has been in the top 10 range since the senior bowl..

3. Ansah and Maybin are in no way comparable.. Maybin is undersized, Ansah is a giant man with speed..

In conclusion: Maybin's failure has no impact on how well Ansah will do in the NFL..
