LMFAO!!! Good one.
Anyway, I think we should bring him back, maybe stick him on PUP to get him back into shape if he comes in with a chip on his shoulder but isn't in the type of shape we want him in. On the other hand, how old is he? |
He's 30, I was coming by to hear your guys thoughts on if you were going to keep him and if so what are your thoughts on his return. I wish him nothing but the best of luck except against. _________________

I think the consensus is that the fans want him back, it would be a feel good story and it would also fill a big need on the DL. There seems to be little risk in bringing him to training camp to compete, may the best man win. _________________

He's a very young 30. He just turned 30 in February. The last time his body went through the rigors of an NFL season, he was 26. Bigger men are notorious in this league for last well in to their 30's. Jolly has a good 5 years of prime body left in him if he's been able to keep himself in relatively good shape. There really is no reason why Jolly shouldn't be in our camp come August unless he won't take a pay cut. _________________

Don't think getting added on the website means much but it has to at least feel good for him and leaves open the possibility that they're going to give him a chance. Packers.com roster moves are always fast and accurate though. _________________

Well, if the Packers wanted nothing whatsoever to do with him, they could have waived him on Monday. |

A little quiz for Mr. Jolly.
You have added to Green Bay's roster. Should you:
a) fly to Green Bay and start working out privately.
b) call up some old buds and celebrate in the clubs. _________________

Cool to see Aaron reach out to him. The support from Rodgers and the rest of the team is going be big for Jolly and I hope can use it in a positive fashion and stay out of trouble. |

The #Packers have officially reduced DE Johnny Jolly's salary to $715,000, knocking $1.8 million off the cap and putting them at $18M under.
