71.2% chance he drops to us (nah that's his completion %). Depends on Jacksonville & Cleveland. _________________

I think the Browns are the biggest threat. But I'm starting to like the chances of him falling to 7. _________________

Reasons why they'd take Geno Smith:
Jaguars- Gabbert struggled, coach declared open QB competition
Raiders- Palmer's making 13 million next year, likely restructure or cut, would they role with just Pryor?
Eagles- Vick and Foles could both still be traded and Geno fits his system
Browns- New regime, Weeden probably won't be their starting QB going forward, could be traded and they have nobody else
Reasons why they wouldn't draft Geno Smith:
Jaguars- Already invested a top 10 pick in a QB two years ago, may wait til Day 2 to draft another
Raiders- Palmer can still be a decent starting QB they just need to reduce his salary and they gave up a lot to get him there, Pryor still has upside
Eagles- Vick fits Kelly's system very well so they could role with him for 1 year and see how it unfolds
Browns- Just drafted a QB in the first last year
And then of course all are probably questioning whether Geno is even worth a top 5-10 pick. |

If Geno is there you jump all over him, and he starts week one. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Agreed. It makes the rest of the draft so much simpler then too having taken care of QB. I'll be breathing a huge sigh of relief if we pick up Geno. |

So pick up Kolb's bonus, draft Geno then cut Kolb? _________________

Well we can't go into the draft without a starting caliber QB... What if we can't get the guy(s) we want? _________________

Who this starting caliber QB you talk of? None of Arizona QB should ever start again. _________________

Kolb is the only QB on the roster worthy of starting. Only thing that is a downfall for him is he is so fragile _________________

It is a tough spot to be in, but if they pick up a veteran FA they may cut Kolb; The bonus is not a huge hinderance either. Only 2M this year as opposed to 7M last.
I only say you start him because Keim stated that if we take a guy in the top 10 we want immediate impact.
We cannot afford to pass on Geno because he is not "perfect". Drafting scared kills teams. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
