A 1st/3rd would be great for New York. Teams haven't even seen him workout yet...

I'm confident the eagles will make an offer. Can't see a first being involved though (from the eagles at least).

I wonder how good this offer is and who it is from.

Tampa Bay, calling it.

Word just came out we along with Det are the favorites to land Goldson.

Also in the hunt for Cox and Smtih.

We might have a whole new secondary by this time tomorrow Shocked

If it is TB, I wonder if their first is involved. As a Jets fan, a pass rusher + warmack sounds awfully nice

The sources are sketchy at best, but there a few on twitter saying the Vikings are potentially the team that has put up the "good offer".

The Vikings may have the picks to trade for him, but unless the Vikings drop the Cover-2 (which I think they run, still) it doesn't make sense to pay such a heavy price for Revis.

All the money you brought in at that position and you're trying to trade for another high end CB and or draft one high? LOLZLOLZLOLZ

The eagles even having interest was more speculation than truth. I'm sure Howie asked about him, but I doubt we even made an offer.

Something to keep in mind about the rumors flying about the Jets trading Revis by the end of tomorrow: Only Manish Mehta is reporting this, and, like always, he and the entire NYDN staff is to be taken with a grain of salt.

With rampant speculation the Revis camp is the one pushing these rumors, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if his agents were Manish's "sources".

Looks like the Bucs ARE the team with the "good offer" for Revis

Quote:
As the new league year approaches, the Jets have, for now, one serious trade partner for cornerback Darrelle Revis.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, it’s the Buccaneers.

Or? We'd better be talking and.

A second round pick for a player who is arguably the best defensive player in football is ludicrous.
