| Not trying to hijack you guys thread but as far as giving him "silly Kolb money", he is signed for 2 more years so no need to sign him to any huge deal. He is like 15th or so salary wise as a starting QB, which is middle of the pack. |

Here's the thing.. I really truly think this is just to stoke the flames for a trade for KC or Cleveland.
No way SF gives him up into the division unless they think it will make us worse ala Redskins w/ McNabb. _________________

| I don't think Keim/Arians will offer much at all. If he's released (unlikely), I'm sure we'll jump at the chance but there's no use negotiating when San Fran probably won't want to trade him within the division. If traded, it does help that he's on a reasonable salary unlike Kolb. |

BS - Don't buy it for a minute...
We're either drafting a QB, trading for Mallett or sticking with Kolb. _________________

If the 49ers want to make sure Arizona continues to be a bad team, they would do whatever it takes to make sure Smith is Arizona Qb next year. _________________

Smoke....Screen.
1 - 49ers are not going to trade in the division
2 - 49ers are not going to trade in the division
3 - Same as #2. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Khodder, i am not sure what you are saying
lol
I cannot see it happening either.
Harbaugh seems the kind of guy to only trade with AFC teams, so he sees mistakes if he makes any every 4 years. |

Well Kolb's bonus is March 17th, if a Mallett trade (or any QB trade happened) it would more than a month before the draft. If we don't make a trade and plan to draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd do we pay Kolb's 2m option for insurance and just cut him and eat it should Geno be our pick? _________________

Why??????????
No way the 49ers trade Smith to AZ, if released maybe he ends up here but when did they get that stupid. Seahawks might try to trade us Flynn because he is Kokb 2.0, back up QB w/very little proof behind him. They would love to get our pick.
As far as Mallet, WHY??????, what round was he taken last year and why did we not take him over Fleming if we like him now? Does he have a strong track record, I saw him for one snap was there more???? Does playing behind Brady make you great, see Hoyer and Cassel. Please stop the Mallet talk, thank you _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Mallett was drafted in the 2011 draft so we drafted Rob Housler over him.
But I agree. I think the impact a star QB has on a young QB can be overexaggerated sometimes. |
