Man....this is really not a good situation. No Welker unless we overpay for him, which is bad. And even if we get Welker, we still have to overhaul the receiving corps. The defense better find a way to improve because barring a big swing in the draft (like Terrance Williams) I can't see this offense not getting worse next season, regardless of what happens to Welker. _________________

Wut. Any chance we resign him for less? I really don't want to see him go. _________________

| Quote: | | The book on Lloyd, according to several league sources at his various stops, is that he can be moody and surly, depending on the day, and a bit selfish. You won’t find many teammates who have good things to say about him. |
| Quote: | “I know you’ve heard he was good in the building, but he wasn’t necessarily an angel in the building,’’ said the Broncos source. “He wasn’t a good teammate. During games, he was asking the stat person to see how many catches and yards he had at that point in the game when [Kyle] Orton was starting.
“He has that locker room lawyer-type in him. Publicly he’ll say all the right things, but in the locker room he’ll voice his opinion.
“He’s extremely intelligent. Very articulate, very well-read, but there were times when people in the building thought he may be bipolar - and not joking - because he has days where he’s up and ready to go and happy-go-lucky and he’s like, ‘Hey, what’s up? How’s it going?’
“And then there were other days when he was surly and moody, and you just know it’s not a good day to approach him.
“He’s kind of a different cat, I’ll say that.’’

The Pats need to pursue Greg Jennings and Brian Hartline IMO. _________________

Surely Josh McDaniels would have mentioned this to someone in the Pats FO before we signed him??
A bit gutted if he goes, but now more reason to pursue Brian Hartline _________________

Yeah whenever he caught a ball he either slid down right away or jumped out of bounds. scared... I like the Amendola/Hartline direction but think Welker+Wallace sounds so dreamy...expensive yes but dreamy. _________________

he probably didn't care about his moodiness. Id rather amendola than hartline.

wallace is terrible idea. He runs lazy routes and I don't think he'd fit the offense. Also his delusional salary idea.

From the descriptions it can't be that bad. Though I do remember in Denver he said it was a stupid decision to fire McDaniels and that he wanted out when tebow got the start. _________________

Were going to have huge problems at WR next year. Big problems if we can't figure this out.
Im expecting him to be gone at this rate but what are we going to do at WR?
Wallace? Bowe? Amendola? We need a WR to play out wide. Aaron will likely take Deions spots but what happens to the WR spot when he lines up at TE or in the backfield?
This is a huge issue with Slater under contract right now with a bunch of bums under contract as well.
We need to be contacting agents for Wallace and Bowe ASAP. I do not want Brady to be taking a pay cut to be playing with no names at WR. Yes we have Gronk and Aaron but we need to get them relief help over the top. _________________

| compare and contrast what we are hearing about lloyd today and what we heard about him last year at this time. #1: i cant believe BB signed onto lloyd if it was that bad. #2: are they all supposed to be robots like mccourty? #3: get 50 different people in a room and theres bound to be some weirdos. #4: if bedard wants to say he is soft or drops passes OK, but to go all off on the guy who by most accounts fell in line, i dont get. |

Don't know why everyone's taking Bedard's word as gospel. Can definitely see this happening, but lets not act like this is a foregone conclusion. _________________
