Not a shocker, but at least he didn't wait till the last possible minute to make a decision.
I would like to see him retire as a Ram; however, since he has already gotten one big contract I can see him going to a RB needy contender like the Packers to try for a ring. |

| Now would this mean we could resign him? Or probably doesn't want to sign with us. |

Pft reported that the falcons are a likely destination. I could see it definitely. _________________

| He wants a ring. Can anyone blame him? Im sure he would sign a 1 day contract and retire a Ram when the time is right for him. |

S-Jax needs to resign here. His championship attitude, leadership, and skill set render him a perfect fit here. He, Pead, and Richardson compliment each other very well.
I'm predicting S-Jax comes back, Amendola does not. _________________

| This just gives him a chance to see who would give him the money, It would have to be a contender for a shot at the ring , otherwise he would just stay where he is king.. And no one will give him a 3 year contract for 7-8 million a year. |

meh, I'm ready to let him go. There was a really telling stat someone posted last night. Something like last 3 years SJax YPC 4.05 rest of Rams RB's 4.06.
At this point we are losing more in pass blocking than we are in the running game. |

He is so used to being the Grand Poobah, and this being his team that it clearly irks him that this is no longer "his team" |

I agree with Lunatic on this one. He still wants to be the feature back even though he is no longer should be one. He still plays at a high level but if he stays here he'll have to share carries from this point on. |

Dang, if that happens I'm going to have to start following the Falcons closer. They'd have a nice 1-2 OSU HB punch. _________________

Personally, this excites me as I'm one who thinks Richardson/Pead combo surpasses Jax's contribution from last season, and then some. Can't wait to see Pead get some carries, which he didn't get any of when Jax was here. _________________

What is that a picture of? | Thats the shot we got to see on TV every single time he wasnt in for a series. He went to the other end of the bench, held his helmet behind his back, and pouted that he was no longer the Workhorse Back. |
