Looks like we got our new front office intact. We all know you have 2 years to make a name for yourself so heres how they approach this offseason in my eyes.
FA
1. Mike Wallace WR Squealers
-Its already been said they will be pursuing him hard and we have what Pitt doesnt. $$$ Good tag team with Flash.
2. Paul Kruger OLB or Danar Ellerbe ILB Ratbirds
-I want them to grab either or of these free agents from Baltimore. It looks like Baltimore can only sign one of them since Flacco wants way to much money.
3. Derek Cox CB Spotted oversized kittens
-One of my man crushes. Very solid CB who is not afraid of contact. Could be a very good #2 and can pair nicely with Haden.
4. Louis Vasquez G Bolts
- Bring someone in who is pretty solid at the position and can transition our line into the new offense.
Draft
I have us trading down with the Jets to get a 2nd. Seems like they are the most likely to trade up to get either 3-4 pass rush specialist or shot at QB. Who knows. Its New York.
1. Dion Jordan OLB
- I couldnt decide if the Jets would take him or Ansah with our pick so I gambled. I love either one of these guys. Ansah more than Jordan but Jordan would probably be better in coverage. He will put on weight too.
2. D.j Swearinger S
- I love this kid from SC. Seems to have the instincts and can lay the wood at times too. Hopefully he is still there.
3. Travis Kelce TE
- Head Coach and OC are known for coaching TE's. I dont think I really have to go into more here. But I will, Kid is big and athletic and can catch. WIN
4. Michael Williams TE
- WHAT?! Back to back rounds with TEs? TB has gone mad. No we need run blocking support and he can definitely do that. Looks like he can catch some every now and then so another Win.
5. Quanterus Smith. DE/OLB
- We need depth for the D front 7.
6. FB. He better block and catch.
7. Punter. I refuse to say kicker.
I figured in too that we will add role players from ARI CAR and SD as well. so if you say oh you didnt address blah blahblah. Im just going to cry cause I didnt do it your way. Oh well. I still bleed Brown and Orange either way. |

I like Shamarko Thomas and Jonathan Cyprien over Swearinger honestly.
I love the rest of FA and the draft...except Kelce...meh...Dion Sims is better than him.
And we need some depth on the DL.
But I like it. |

Shamarko Thomas is not a FS, the guy has the athletic ability but his game is suited for SS _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

I was unaware that Thomas was more of the SS type. Admittedly, I have not watched any tape of him, but people seem to be saying he's a freak back there so I figured he had the agility/speed to play in the deep middle. |

He has the athletic ability but his ball skills are lacking, he excels playing in the box, he is fearless and a good tackler, I have watched every game of his college career and is one of my favorite players I have watched at Syracuse, if we did not have ward already I would be leading the bandwagon to get him for SS. But sadly he just does not have the coverage skills for FS _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

I like it, but I can barley see Dion Jordan falling to us as it is, let alone with a trade down. I think he cemented his way into Philly after yesterday. _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink

I don't think Dion is around at #9, D.J. Swearinger is going 1st and Travis Kelce will go 2nd. _________________

ok, so what makes a SS vs a FS candidate? I seriously don't know because I used to think it was coverage ability but then I've been reading comments about SS Jonathan Cyprien who impressed scouts with, among other things, his coverage ability.
So now I'm just Konfooz ~ |

jordan doesn't last that long. Mingo or mid round talent is what you have to be considering with a trade back. Warmack? I haven't really paid much attention to others in the mid rounds.
that is all

U guys really think Jordan goes before 9?
I mean i'm cool with taking him at 6, but outside of us and the Jets, who am I missing? _________________

Dion Jordan is Jacksonville's preferred target as well. We won't be getting him any longer, I fear. |

I am willing to bet anything that Kelce will not go in round 2. He will go late 3rd maybe early 4th. He is a liability. He is just a complete moron and will be a cancer for any team that drafts him. I will also bet anything that Swearinger will not go in the 1st. |
