ATL trading up...yeah, why not, looks like Answah is worth it after the performance he put on at the combine. TE are a dime a dozen in free agency, we can get a serviceable one there.
I figure Tony gets the itch being so close and the Falcon have been aggressive in the draft before (Julio Jones!!!)
So the team with the 3rd most in cap space gets no top FAs??

Love the Miami pick though
My Thoughts about Miami was if it couldn't get one of the big 3 WRs it could spread its money around and get several good players to work on its depth
Not sure why the Jets would trade up for a guy with spinal stenosis. I think Jones might make it out of the first round.

Edit: Didn't realize this was a trade for Revis. I don't want to trade Revis, but that is very good value. I would rather use the pick on a different player.
The Jets would rather not trade Revis but for the price and not having to worry about resigning him. similar to the Mets traded RA Dickey (Cy Young Winner) to make their team stronger as a whole. I forsee the trade being 2014 pick like 25% or less Defensive plays round 5, 26-50 % as 4th round, 51-75% AS 3RD ROUND, 76-100% 2nd round, pro bowl or super bowl as 1st round.
While it is interesting with the trade for Revis, it just can't happen. We'd have 70%+ of our cap tied up in 4 players, and we just can't afford that. Also, Revis isn't really worth a top 5 pick, especially in our scheme where we don't need a lockdown CB.
Detroit finished 27 best scoring defense. They have a great Offense and when you can get a CB who can shut down 25 - 50% of the field (as Revis can Do) no matter what system, why would you balk. Also I think for a guy like Revis players like Stafford and Johnson would rework their contract to get under the cap

I can deal with that.

Yep....fine by me too

I'd rather Dion Jordan or Star, but we need corners badly so I can't complain
I greatly dislike adding a DT, who will only play roughly 1/3 of the snaps. The vikings rotate there defensive line often, so it just doesnt seem like a good value pick.

Give MN Arthur Brown, a 3 down MLB.
I've looked in to it and Brown is a 2nd or 3rd round pick at best, what else can I do for the Vikings

5. Dustin Keller (TE) signs with the St.L 6. Jake Long (OT) signs with Pit
7. Cliff Avril (DE) signs with Buf 8. Richard Seymour (DL)signs with N.O.
9. Anthony Spencer (OLB) signs with Ari 10. Carey Williams (CB) signs with Car
11. Aqib Talib (CB) signs with KC 12. Kenny Phillips (S) signs with Ten

I seem to remember Tom Brady freeing up $15 million in cap room the next two years. . . .

It's more likely the Browns end up with Mallett at this point than Welker. In any case, Welker's looking for a ring as much as he is money. I don't see him going to a team that's still more than a year away from the playoffs.

I have no problem with this for the Falcons.

1st round trade for Ansah is cool as i have a man crush on ansah and i think he has the biggest potential of most the DE's in this class.

I like Bush in our scheme as a RB so thats a solid signing.

Tony coming back is fine with me for sure.

Follow that pick up with a big nasty DT in the 2nd to 4th round and maybe a olb with the other pick.

Would also like to resign Grimes at CB if possible Wink

Great Bears pick

Did you see Teo in the drills today at the combine? Slow 40 time, not fluid in Drills. No thank you.

Sorry I posted it before I saw how horrible Teo was. In this case I'd probably go for Minter here

It's all good. You made the draft, I was commenting about the Indianstud because he loves Teo in all bears mock drafts for some reason.

I could live with Jordan for the Bengals, but there's no way the team would shell out big money, or any money, for jennings in free agency. Most of our cap space will be spent on keeping our own guys. That said, i could see them taking a WR like Hunter instead.

This. They won't pay what Jennings wants for a #2WR.

I like how you have Talib leaving the Pats(although not to KC), but the Xavier Rhodes pick for Denver is wrong. He isn't worth it. They won't take him.

I don't think the Steelers really have the cap space to sign Long. He's on the decline anyway I think. As for the giants. I'm liking the Ogletree pick less and less. The first round is awful high for a WILL LB. Maybe give us Xavier Rhodes based on your board. Dion jordon might be nice too.

Interesting mock but there's no way whatsoever that the Rams trade up to number one. Saffold is an above-average left tackle- we simply don't need Joeckel, especially as he's hardly Orlando Pace or Jonathan Ogden revisited.

The Rams are far more likely to trade down than up.
