Agreed. I like Trufant experienced kid with all the measurables you'd want, has the bloodlines, captain and plays with a swagger. I think he'd be a bit of reach, but honestly in this draft there's not a huge difference in all the potential first round guys, so maybe not.
If I had to bet we'll trade back. |
Yeah here's my opinion on it...
Millner at 13? Lock done (WONT HAPPEN)
Rhodes and Trufant still on the board? Trade down, let one get taken off the board
Millner and Rhodes gone? Trufant at 13 |
I think Banks definitely could still be our guy too, he ran a 4.6 but it's not a huge issue if we like his tape. I'm really interested to see how much say Stokes has... could lead us taking a chance on Rhodes. |

I want two new corners from this draft. What combo does everyone want? Going to exclude Millner, it's obvious he isnt going to last
Rd.1 Rhodes/Trufant
Rd.2 Banks/Amerson/Poyer
Rd.3 Ryan/Slay/Wilson
????
Two of any of that combo and I'd be very happy

I'm against 2 early corners in the draft... I would love Amerson, Poyer, Trufant, Rhodes...
I think we will be fine with one early corner and a late one( 6th, 7th round)... I think we can have Biggers or a FA signing, and Leanard Johnson as the nickleback, with a first or 2nd round pick and be fine at CB

I personally like Rhodes and then Slay in round 3. Take BPA in round 2, there should be some really good talent there

| I think Rhodes is the next mike jenkins, and I would happily pair him with Barron. Then ask Ronde for 1 more year of nickel only, and sign a veteran i.e. Cary Williams or Derek Cox. |
