Completely hypothetical question: Upgrading OG's?

So, I was listening to a deal on the radio just now were they said an NFL GM predicted 15 DL to go in the first 50 picks of the draft this year. A thought popped up that I wanted to pose.

*Note, this is completely made up, just for ish and giggles*

If the opportunity arose were we could land both Warmack AND Cooper at the cost of our 1st, 2nd and next years 1st... Would you do it? How would you feel about it?

We dont have to hammer out the exact details, but something like we trade out 2nd and 1st next year to land another pick in the 15-20 range.

I wouldn't be happy - TBH. Future firsts hold more value to me than I suppose others though.

Isn't there depth at the OG position in this year's draft? That's my impression anyway. Given this, why sacrifice a future first-round pick when other OG prospects can be had throughout the draft? Sure, none of them are Warmack-type players, but there are some prospects that should be very good pros.

I wouldn't be happy about it. Warmack and cooper would be great but not at the expense of next year. The only time it would make sense to do something like that is for a SB run. But with the holes on defense and the OL, I really don't see a SB run on the immediate horizon.

What is you draft OG this year, and look at OT next year. But if Free is cut you could see the Cowboys looking at OT this year in the 1st Round.
