Meh. They all have linebacker, running back and safety as needs but underrate wide receiver as a need. One of them assumes we lose Andre. If we lose MJ, then DE is a bigger need than any of those mocks show.

If I had to choose I'd go with Drafttech

If forced to choose, I'd take the 2nd one because the players are better than in the others. Of course they might not be at positions of need.

Not really a huge fan of any of these. The Bleacher Report mock is solid with Lacy, Ryan, and Rambo in the 2-3 round area which I like. But we don't need a punter, and I don't like A.J. Klein or Ogletree.

Draftsite is decent but it doesn't fill a lot of holes. I still like Keith Pough a lot as a potential SLB, but I don't like Joseph Randle anywhere before our fourth round (and that's not a reaction to the combine). Fluker isn't someone who I think can play OT at the next level, and I don't want an o-lineman in round one. Some value but not taking LB till our last pick is awful.

Footballnation isn't good at all. First of all Anthony Barr stayed in school. Secondly I'm not a fan of Gio Bernard, Elam, Barner or Taylor. Bernard to me is a third/fourth rounder though he does compliment BJGE pretty well. Elam is a third rounder, don't think he'll be consistent enough as a factor in the run game. Barner doesn't provide any sort of between the tackles ability, constantly bounces runs to the outside, weak lower body strength. Taylor is so stiff, though I guess in round five he's worth the risk. Vernon and Webb are really good late round picks though.

Drafttek is probably my least favorite. Obviously I'm not a fan of Ogletree at all. Eric Reid might be a third round guy, but he's too stiff and really struggles in man. Limited athletically I think, we'll find out tomorrow. Greene has good instincts but he doesn't play nearly as fast as he is, not a great athlete. Like him as a blitzer, love his violent tackling but to me he's a third rounder. Cobi Hamilton has very inconsistent hands, doesn't consistently get separation and is a body catcher. Johnny Adams struggled last year for MSU, not a fan. Williams, Gilleslee and Edwards are picks I like though.

Sadly though I feel like we are gonna end up with Ogletree. I hope not, but I think we'll take him.

I'll re-evaluate after the DB's go, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like:

1) Top Safety available, SS
2a) Justin Hunter, WR
2b) Sio Moore, WLB
3) Denard Robinson, RB/KR/PR/WR/QB3/WCQB
4) Ty Powell, SLB
5) Hugh Thortnon, OG
6) Malliciah Goodman, DE

Honestly I don't like any of those drafts.

A punter????

Mathieu on 3????????????????????

3 and 4 aren't bad, but both have a pick in the first 2 rounds I'm not crazy about.

We might need a punter. All of our kicking unit are free agents in a few weeks, and if we don't re-sign Huber we will need a punter.

My view, FWIW is we'll trade down and pick up another top 100 pick. Unless a guy like Warmack drops to 21, I see us trading down.

I've read numerous pundits this year say the overall gradings between #11 and #111 is alot closer this year. Good year to trade down IMO.

I think i can legitimately say i only know names in that first post. Mathieu and Zac Dysert (he QB'd one of the small schools around my area where i went to HS - he of course dominated the competition, was fun to watch).

So, uh, good job on the mocks and knowing all those names. Laughing
