Man this kid looked good 4.3 to 4.4 forty 6'1 227 lbs 31 reps at 225 I think this kid could be a star what do you guys think?

I am watching the running backs at the combine from yesterday and other than Onterio Mccalleb who is only 168 lbs. ran a 4.27 Knile Davis ran a 4.30 and 4.31 on the hand stopwatch but Davis is almost 80 lbs heavier, he is moving up the draft boards only problem is he was hurt a couple times!

Michael Form impressed me, only problem is I hardly remember him from LSU, I know he split time with the other backs so not a lot of ware and tear, but not sure he could our workhorse either.

If Knile Davis' hands are good, and he interviews well (humble, focused, determined) I would love to take him with our late 3rd round pick / 4th round pick if around. His first full year of college football (2010) he looked great, but he's been injured pretty much since then. I'd still like Lattimore a bit more than him but I wouldn't mind taking a risk on him in the middle rounds.

If there were no such things as injuries, most people's draft boards would appear like this at RB...

In my opinion, both Lattimore and Davis would be steals in the third (if they check out medically)

A.P. was also tagged as injury prone when he was about to get drafted so if Knile Davis is half the player all day is then I would love to take that chance especially in the mid-late rounds

Knile Davis would be a great fit in my mind. He's a faster stretched out version on Turner, really. I don'recall any character issues (correct me if I'm wrong), but he did play under that weasel Petrino. Hopefully he didn't learn any of those tricks. IMO Rogers and Davis would be a really good two-headed monster.

I know this but like I said if he's half the player that A.P. is I would like to take that chance and possibly get a mid round steal, I was just bringing up the fact that they both were tagged as injury prone when A.P. clearly is not

Knile's combination of size, strength and straight-line speed are impressive. His catching didn't look quite as natural to me. He caught the ball but it was hitting his hands hard. He was fighting it a bit.

His 3-cone and shuttle weren't quite as impressive so I'm a little concerned over his agility and cutting ability. I'd also like to know how good he is at finding and hitting the hole. I'm not too familiar with this guy though. Anyone watch a lot of his games?

I thought that Christine Michael kid also looked really impressive. He was the top RB in vertical jump, 3-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle. 27 reps at the bench press (4th) and 10'5" (2nd) in broad jump is nice too.

Honestly this class has a lot of diamonds in the rough in the 3-6 rounds. Like Davis, Franklin, Randle, even Gilleslee. Studs are everywhere

I agree. This class has too many productive backs in the mid rounds to pick up a RB in FA.
