a couple of times? what?

why is no de, cb or qb on her list?
only positions the rams need.
she tweeted a couple of months ago that she was with les watching alabama vs. auburn, cause he was scouting.

You realize Snead went to Auburn and is very close to their program. Alabama also happens to be the biggest game on the schedule every year for Auburn. I'd say it's safe to say Mr. and Mrs. Snead were there more for leisure than business...

Think you're reading a little too much into these things. GM's are pretty tight-lipped this time of year as to what their true intentions are. No matter what/who their wife tweets/follows...

she is following 209 twitter accounts. out of the last 32 accounts 14 are guys in this draft class.
i'm pretty sure it must be a personal thrill for her to be one of the 345 followers of vance macdonald.

What happens when u r married to an Auburn football grad..still watching Auburn/Alabama at 49 to 0. But... scouting Alabama all the while.

I'm sure he did some scouting (especially after it became a rout), but you're being naive if you think that was the primary reason they tuned in, like you made it sound...

Does that mean we are Signing Ed Reed too? Or are we trying to swing deals for JJ Watt & Julio Jones? I bet we are looking into Brittney Spears as a regional Scout...

She is also a Sports personality, as a former (and likely to be again) Sideline reporter, I doubt Snead is doing much of, or the most important Scouting with his Wife.

yeah, i knew it.
so she must think guys like stedman baily and macdonal end up as the next adrian peterson or ed reed.
14 guys out of the same class!

and of course he doesnt talk about the deep stuff. and it's only guys we already knew would be in the mix. except for maybe a guy like macdonald. no fluker or cooper or patterson.
but i'm sure she gets a sense for the guys in the first round.

the point is, why just follow tavon austion and bailey but don't follow geno smith...

So you think the main reason he tuned into the game was simply to scout. There was no other agenda at all, even though he has close friends within the Auburn program, played for Auburn, graduated from Auburn, has stated himself his hate of Alabama and the degree of rivalry on this game every year...

Like I said, I'm sure he did get some scouting in. However, to think that it was the primary reason just because his wife tweeted it. Come on guy...

Any chance of getting this thread back on track, instead of discussing Twitter?

I very much doubt that the Rams will be signing Jake Long for many of the reasons others have cited, such as the fact he will still demand elite LT money even though his performance has slipped lately; the fact that the Rams don't have much cap space; and we already have a very good (when healthy) left tackle anyway.

I get a lot of my NFL information online, not living in the US, and (as has been said) Peter King is one if those "journalists" who has a tendency to just make up any old rubbish, attribute it to his "sources" and then milk the few wild guesses which do come to fruition for all they're worth. This appears to be another of those cases.
