Players to cut....
Nick Barnett
Terrence McGee
George Wilson
Chris Kelsay
Rian Lindell
Chris White
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Torell Troup
I see Levitre leaving and getting a big deal.
Re-Signings
Jairus Byrd- I think they'll bite the bullet and lock him up long term. As long as he isn't asking for something outrageous.
Leodis McKelvin- started to mature and turn into a veteran. Return game is important.
Kyle Moore
Chad Rinehart
Dorin Dickerson
Fresh Signings
Jerome Simpson-we need an athletic and big guy on the outside. Not too many options in FA. Unless we target Bowe or Wallace at 10+ million.
Dennis Pitta-he's a RFA so it depends on what they tender him at. With the ravens cap situation, I'm hoping they can't afford him. Not much of a blocker but I think he has a lot to offer as a receiver.
Bart Scott-I'm not a big fan of signing players past their prime but in this case it makes sense. We have 2 young guys in Bradham/Shep, a little guidance from a veteran that knows the system is good.
Chris Houston-competition for McKelvin. Let the best man win.
Mike Devito-a nice rotational 3-4 end that knows the system.
Draft
1st round- Dion Jordan OLB Oregon
2nd round- Tyler Bray QB Tennessee. (I prefer EJ Manuel but I don't think he is available here)
3rd round- Larry Warford OG Kentucky. Replace Levitre.
4th round- Justin Hunter WR Tennessee. Wishful thinking in the 4th round.
5th round- Kevin Reddick ILB North Carolina reserve ILB
6th round- Shamarko Thomas SS Syracuse. Reserve SS
7th round- Edit* traded for T Jax
Tell me what you think! _________________

I don't see Jerome Simpson as anything more than a 3rd WR option not 2.. Not a fan of Bart Scott or Pitta as FA signings
Dion Jordan has a boom or bust.. Aldon Smith or Aaron May bin
Tyler Bray isn't in my top 5 QB yet but fills need
Larry Warford is very nice but unlikely at 3
Justin Hunter is I sane at 4 but not likely.
FA is awful but draft is solid |

We gave up our 7th in the Tavaris Jackson trade if I'm not mistaken. _________________

Bold...I agree with that but I don't see an alternative. Other than bowe/Wallace, the majority of the FA receivers are slot type players.
Italics...he'd be our 3rd ILB behind Bradham/Shep. Not sure if that changes your mind?
I went for more realistic FA's signing instead of thinking big. I could have said mike Wallace, Brent grimes, Delanie Walker, and resign Levitre. That obviously would be better but unrealistic. _________________

Jerome Simpson isnt the answer to #2 wr. He was ranked 3rd or 4th in Minnesota and that was with Harvin out.
Not a fan of Bray dont think he is worth taking. He isnt special and he has immature issues. Need a leader not a child. Hunter is a 2nd to early 3rd rd pick i dont see him lasting until the 4th. I also think ILB is a huge need over OG. They need a starter who can play all 3 downs. _________________

Still don't want Scott, but SJ, Hunter, Simpson, Graham could be decent. |

I'd say the cat is out of the bag with shamarko Thomas. He's probably a 2nd/3rd rounder now. 4.42 and 28 reps is crazy. _________________
