Thoughts on some type of Freeman/pick swap for Revis?
Word is Freeman isn't Greg's favorite and vise versa.
We also interviewed EJ Manuel at the combine. Maybe Greg wants to get "his" guy running the show in Tampa.
We have also been linked as one of the favorite teams as far as destination for Revis to land. We obviously have the need having the worst pass defense last year and having to facing Newton, Brees, Ryan six times a year. We also have the money to sign him. I think once we cut a few guys we should have close to $40 million to play with.
You guys might have a tough time signing Revis to a long term deal with the cap situation. Also I don't think Sanchez is your long term answer. _________________

Kidding what?
I said Freeman/pick!
Not a straight swap. I know most want 4-1st round picks for him but that isn't going to happen. _________________

It is pretty strange... id rather an extra pick... We have one qb bust from that draft, we dont need a second one (and yes, I think Freeman is not good at all) |

| Freeman is a good QB and has a huge ceiling. I wouldnt do Revis for him though. I would trade Cro. |

I still think Freeman is going to be a good QB, but I don't think he is going to fit our new WCO. _________________

He had a completion % of 50% ish and accounted for 25 turnovers, with a great ypung rb and a very good wr corps... he is only signed for 1 more year also
Id rather another pick instead of freeman |

Not likely.
Like others said, Freeman is not the best fit for the WCO, and he's in the final year of his contract.
It would still take a first and change to get Revis. |

On second thought. Freeman and 1st round pick for Revis will be Jets' best option.
Freeman is capable of 4-5k passing yards. He is likely to get about 60 percent less guarantee than Revis.
With 2 1st round picks, Jets could get Cordarrelle Patterson and Desmond Trufant,
Freeman + Patterson and Hill = sick offense. |

| I really really don't like Freeman as a QB. I was even surprised he was picked in the first round. The only way he is traded to the jets for Revis would be Freeman and a 1st and 2nd round pick for this year or a 1st this year and a 1st in next years draft. |
