| heard on the radio atlanta and denver will be the lead teams trying to get Shonn Green. I cant say im excited to hear that. What do u think? |

It was something speculated and made up by ESPN NY. Neither his agent nor the Falcons have shown any interest in this pairing.

that doesn't mean they are doing it. just that an unnamed "source" thinks they are.

True. If be fine with getting Shonn. Draft another mid-round guy, get Shonn, obviously we have Quizz.
Look how the Saints use 3 RBs, not saying that is how we should do things exactly though. It's always a good thing to have depth at RB.
If we don't get him though, big deal, on to the next option...

Shonn Greene 2012 Stats: 276 Attempts, 1,063 yrds, 8TD's, 3.9 average
Michael Turner 2012 Stats: 222 Attempts, 800 yards, 10 TD's, 3.6 average
By looking at these stats, Green is not an upgrade. Green was basically the entire offense last year and he barely broke a 1,000 yard season. He had a below average Oline, but the Falcons don't have the best running Oline either. Green isn't the best catching RB either. He doesnt have breakaway speed and isn't that great at pass protection. I just don't see how he is an upgrade over Turner. I hope the Broncos take him because he wouldnt help us much.

How was he "the whole offense" when he started like half the games, if that?
It's an upgrade, but not a huge one. I wouldn't want him starting...

he would be a decent upgrade because the Jets had no consistent QB and very bad recievers now look at Turner he had Ryan and two of the best WR's in the game and the very best tight end so I think he would be an upgrade but IMO I don't want him

You forgot to factor in Turners salary. I would take half a RB at half his salary.

Of course, but how much would you be willing to pay Green? I would expect he is going to want to command a significant amount since this could be the biggest FA pay day of his career.
