Long time criticizer, first time mocker.
I have 2 young kids so needless to say I dont have a lot of time. So, I'm not going to get into too much explanation on the offseason other than how it could affect the draft process.
Released:
Bart Scott
Calvin Pace
Eric Smith
Jason Smith
Sione Pouha
Tim Tebow
Resign:
G Brandon Moore
OT Austin Howard
TE Jeff Cumberland
WR Braylon Edwards
Let Walk:
In order to make the Revis, we unfortunately let Landy and Keller walk.
FA:
I think we are going to be very quiet, only filling for depth so I'm not going to get into it. Again- kids...
So draft.
*Trading our #9 pick to Dallas for their 18th, 50th pick and 146th.
1 Dion Jordan OLB-Georgia
-Jordan drops to 18 after news re-surfaces of his upcoming surgery
2 Larry Warford OG-Kentucky
-Get a solid G for the next 5+ years
2 Mike Glennon QB-North Carolina State
-According to Kiper he only expects 1 or 2 QB's in the 1st. MG falls to us in the second. If Arizon or Buffalo takes him I think we could easily take Wilson.
3 Montee Ball RB- Wisconsin
-Power and speed. Will battle with Powell for starting role
4 Jordan Mills OT- Louisiana Tech
5 Kenny Stills, WR- Oklahoma
5 Josh Evans, FS- Florida
6 Ryan Otten TE- San Jose State
7 Eric Herman OG- Ohio
Ok- well, looks like mostly offensive draft. Let me know what you guys think.

My only concern is who is the #2 WR?
Other than that, I'll be happy with this. Not sure how sold I am on Ball yet. But the ZBS is the best fit for him. _________________

I dont love it...
Dont like montee ball, rather more speed
You didnt pick up a single wr and we have no #2/#3 wr
I dont wamna trade down if we arent getting extra picks... Trading 2 picks for 2 picks doesnt help much... 2 seconds doesnt help THAT much if we still have the same # of picks...
id eveb rather get a 1st, 3rd and 4th than a 1st and 2nd and have to lose a 5th |

I'd sign up for this. I like the offense oriented draft. Like others have said idk if I'm high on Ball yet.
Personally I think it may be wise to trade down in the 1st and 2nd load up on picks and draft similar to what you have with the addition of a safety. I don't think I want a QB from this draft because if Rex tanks another season he may be out which means we wasted a pick on a QB that the new coach wouldn't want.
I'd like to sign Matt Moore to start and then fill in pieces around him. Then next year go after a QB. Although in this scenario I think it would probably be wise to trade Revis for as many picks as we can get. |

According to the trade value chart our 9 is worth 1350, the 18 only 900 and 50 only 400. That means they still owe us ( so to speak) 50 pts. So instead of giving up our 5th we should at least get theirs (33 pts) |

Our #9 pick is 1350. Their 18th is 900= -450 pts. Yes, your right, for some reason i had their 2nd round pick as 500 pts not 400. I will update this. |

| I am not crazy about Ball and Jordan. Sooners' WRs seem to be always run solid routes but they lack of game presence. |

It's a good draft, but I believe Glennon, Ball, Stills,, Herman and possibly even Warford won't fall to the picks you have them at. Glennon to me has been the most impressive at the combine in the positional drills and I see him as a late 1st- early 2nd. Ball is a second round pick as one of the highest rated RBs in the draft. Stills is a 3rd or 4th round guy. I'm not entirely sure where Herman will go, but he was decent at the combine and looks alright on tape. Maybe 5th or 6th? _________________

I'm guessing you meant Oregon. _________________ “You don’t burn out from going too fast. You burn out from going too slow and getting bored.”
