Yes or No?
(or maybe)
If you can, explain why you would or would not draft him with our 2nd round pick. _________________

I voted yes.
Not only do you NOT pass up on a blue chip player in the 2nd rd, but you definitely don't do it when there is a need. (or will be)
London Fletcher is pondering retirement as we speak. He's got maybe this yr and then he's done. How many opportunities are we going to have, in drafting a top 10 LBer prospect in the 2nd rd. Specially considering, we don't have a 1st next yr either.
I like Perry Riley quite a bit and know very little about K. Robinson.
We could be losing Lorenzo Alexander this FA, possibly.
Even IF...we get Fletcher for another season, don't you want London being a mentor for this young kid?
Yes, we do have other needs. (Like Secondary..A RT and others)
But you don't pass on a top 10 blue chip prospect, to reach for a position of major need, imo.
Remember...Kiper had him going #2 overall, before all this fake girlfriend fallout.
What say you? _________________

Unfortunately he will never be there at 51. But you almost have to go with a top 20 pick there if he falls that far into the 2nd round. _________________

Unless he completely bombs all of his workouts he's not going to make it passed the Ravens... _________________

| THe Alabama game concerns me. I realize Bama makes most teams look bad, but that is a Pro style oline and Teo really struggled in that game sheding blocks. Just food for thought!!!! |

| I don't see his value. He's a thumper type MLB, one who stuffs the run well and struggles in coverage. These types of players are becoming obsolete in the new pass heavy NFL where MLBs are expected to cover athletic TEs. That's just his physical problems. Throw in all the drama about the gf and I just wouldn't want him on the team. |

I don't know how he is in pass coverage, but I know he had like 7 or 8 INT's this yr.
That tells me, he has a nose for the ball.
He's a play making LBer.
And what does Haslet and the Redskins Defense focus on more than anything for this team?
Turnovers
As bad as we sucked on Defense this season everyone. There's one thing we did better than 28 others NFL teams. Takeaway/Giveaway Differential +17 (1.1/g), 3rd.
He just said he has spoken to the Texans & Packers and that he has 18 others team interviews. (20 total)
I'd bet my house, we are 1 of that 20... _________________

I'd bet my house, we are 1 of that 20... | I dont know. I liked him before I saw him get embarassed in the national title game. Then the whole fake gf then really made me question him. I don't think he's mentally tough enough to play in the NFL. I think he's going to bust and be out of the league in a couple of years. |

No possible way.
He didnt finish in the top 100 of ANY defensive category. Not a single 1.
His hype and push came from playing soft Os, the team he plays for being ND, and his team leadership skills alone.
Which in my eyes. Makes him the defensive equivalent of Tebow.
He cant tackle at nearly an NFL level, In the pros hed be shedding blocks about as well as Arron Curry. In fact. Id give a guy like Curry a shot rather than wasting even a 5th or 6th round pick on Teo. Cause the 1 thing Teo did have, leadership skills. Thats gone with this debockle hes gone through. People, players, and media will never take him serious enough again for that to be effective.
Had he played in the SEC. His name wouldnt even be known. Linemen would feasted on him. Probably in the B10 too with the great lines of teams like Wisky, Iowa, Neb, and OSU. _________________

Pro bowler in the future. A lot of defenses struggle vs Alabama's power running game.
He's a good player. He's been scouted as a 1st round pick for the last two drafts. Just like Burfict, Teo will prove his worth when drafted. _________________
