I don't want to start a new thread on him cuz I'd be flamed for it.
so... thoughts on Aqib Talib? he helped NE's defense tremendously IMO. |

The biggest thing for me on him is that I don't trust him off the field _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient |

Absolutely agree with this.
Byrd is (IMO) a top 3 FS in the league. Going from Usama Young to a top 3 FS would be a huuuuuge upgrade for us. I might go with an OLB if there was an excellent one available. _________________

How is no one saying Joe Flacco? If it's overall player it has to be Flacco. If we are trying to be realistic I'll keep my pick of Brian Hartline. Byrd would be awesome, just not realistic to me. No reason to come to Cleveland other than money which he will get anywhere he signs. |

cause I feel most people are of the thinking that he is either going to be signed to a deal or tagged _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient |

I don't care who we get but I want a starting safety or a true #2 CB and a G in FA. Also a vet WR would be nice too.
that is all

Derek Cox/CB/Jacksonville Jaguars
He is big, fast, young, underrated (less $$$), and has locked down some very good receivers. He won't break the bank at all and will immediately give us some size and athleticism to pair with Haden. He is a very good player who has no glaring weakness. Makes plays on the football in the run and pass game.
Good #1, Great #2.
Connor Barwin is my 2nd choice. Dude has very good athleticism and can bend the edge. We need speed rushers. Sheard and Barwin would be perfect complements to one another...whereas guy like Shaun Phillips and Anthony Spencer don't have the blazing speed around the edge to keep everything contained in the middle. Even if he isn't getting sacks, he is still preventing the QB from getting outside the tackle box. This allows interior guys to get a push and force the QB to do dumb things.
I want both in FA because I am greedy. And they both could be had for a halfway decent amount. |

1-Smith....CB
2-Delmas..FS
3-Kruger...OLB
I would target these guys hard and fast because they can be first day signings if we are aggressive. Would solidify our defense without a doubt.
Rodgers-Cromartie and Goldson would make our secondary scary good though _________________
