Mines would have to be Mike Wallace. This talk that the Steelers think we're going to be the ones to sign him makes me too excited about free agency. Jarius Byrd is up there for me too, but Mike Wallace would complete our offense and add so much speed and allow us to do alot of things on the offensive side of the ball and Wallace would bring in a winning pedigree to make our your players better.
Its also pretty tough to find someone with separation speed like Wallace.
Alright thats mines who are some other players you guys want the most? _________________

Byrd
Wallace is very good but his character scares me.
He seems very me first and like he's not a great team guy. _________________

My favorite player in the league is Connor Barwin. He fills a need and still just 26. I am not for breaking the bank on any FAs this offseason, so I would have to go with him. He hasn't lived up to his athletic ability as a pass rusher yet, however, he is very good against the run and does apply a lot of pressure just missing the sack.
He was explosive as the best before he dislocated his ankle in the 1st game of his 2nd season, but since then he has bulked up entirely too much and lost some of that explosiveness. His game coming out was all about explosiveness and athletic ability not power and strenght. I don't know if it was him or Wade Phillips that wanted him to bulk up, but IMO he would be much more of a pass rushing threat if he got back down to 255 or so. _________________

I agree with you on all accounts. If we sign Byrd and draft a CB or sign one, it frees up our LBs on passing downs to blitz, and put more pressure on the CB. Also, Ward will be free to roam and make receivers pay for catching the ball. I like Robertson a lot. I think he can make plays, and he has a nose for causing turnovers. I'm not anointing him the next LT, but I think IMO that he will be a good player. Given our depth at DL, I think our LBs in this scenario will be able to make more plays. Also on running downs, Ward would be able to crowd the box and help in run support. Can you imagine if we sign Byrd AND draft Milliner? It's scary thinking of all the different fronts and schemes we could use! |

Meh Steelers are going to be hurt regardless. I say let him sign for big bucks in Miami. Josh Gordon is going to be better in a few years anyway. _________________

If we are talking anyone, I would go with Joe Flacco. If we are talking realistic I would go with Michael Johnson. _________________

I think Josh will be better too. I just love having studs at WR. I'm biased, but still _________________

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Keenan Lewis. There's not much about his game that I don't like. He would be an ideal fit opposite Haden, we would get to steal him from Pukesburgh. I like some of the corners in this class, but I'm not in love with any of them. However I love D.J. Swearinger, Jon Cyprien and Phillip Thomas I like after him. I don't think we can go wrong getting Jarius Byrd, however. _________________

Agree that we should get our corner opposite Haden in FA.
Probably our veteran TE and G, too.
That leaves us latitude to grab an OLB/DE and FS with our higher picks.
Shoring up CB, TE, G, OLB/DE and FS would make this off season a success, imho. _________________ Everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to happen...otherwise, it would happen some other way |

| I think it's fair to say our biggest need since Joe Jurevicius left was replacing him. I'm dreaming but I hope Gordon can be 07 Braylon, Cameron/Little be something like K2 and finally Brian Hartline be our new Jurevicius. |
