Matzo ball soup, amigo. It was my saving grace when I used to observe.

Wish I could make it. But at school my options are limited. Campus Rabbi was very nice to have me over for Seder, but it was 8 until just after 1. Brutal, so no way I'm going to my 8 AM Laughing

Hahah doing a Seder tomorrow, but definitely not limiting my bread. I had a stomach bug a couple days ago and the doc said I should only eat eggs, toast, apple sauce and crackers. So yeah. Laughing

What kinda rum? I don't often drink anything besides beer but a Captain and Coke sounds damn good right now.

Damn you Des. I haven't had a rum and Coke in months. I might have to stop by the liquor store on the way home.

It is my job to promote alcoholic consumption awareness. If you aren't drunk, you aren't happy.

Anyone else anxious for the new season of Mad Men? I've been catching up thanks to Netflix. Up to season four now.

So, I was playing a pick-up bball game yesterday at the gym I work at and on my landing from a lay-up (which was blocked, adding insult to injury), I landed with all 225 pounds on my right knee and it completely buckled. I heard an obvious pop and felt my knee buckle outward. I was initially worried I tore my LCL. So, I went to the hospital (my GP was MIA), and X-rays came back negative which I figured because nothing felt broken. He then came in and did the typical pushing/pulling of the knee joint to see how stable the ligaments were. He said he didn't think there were any major tears and diagnosed me with just a sprain and put me in a brace that immobilizes my knee. So, I'm on crutches and if it doesn't get much better by next week, I'm supposed to go see an orthopedist.

I can't bear hardly any weight on it yet and it's still pretty swollen around my whole knee. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have had a sprain this bad before and how long did it take for you to get back and walking around? HT, I know you just tore your ACL (?). I'm hoping the doc is right and nothing major is torn and I won't have to have surgery. But, I'm thinking it might be a grade 2 sprain.

Never heard of e-peer pressure before but Des convinced me to buy some rum on the way home.
