If you didn't get it by the name, I dedicate this mock draft to Josh Smith moving on (hopefully)
In honor of Josh, we trade our 1st rounder to Miami for there 2 2nd round picks
2a. Alex Okafor DE Texas
2b. Sean Porter OLB Texas A&M
2c. Gavin Escobar TE San Diego St.
3. Johnathan Franklin RB UCLA
4. TJ McDonald FS USC
4comp. Ace Sanders WR/PR/KR South Carolina
5. Ricky Wagner OT Wisconsin
6. Kwame Geathers NT/DT UGA
7.Vince Williams MLB Florida St.
7comp1. Cornelius Washington DE UGA
7comp2. George Winn RB Cincinatti
7comp3. Jahleel Addae SS Central Michigan
I don't think I reached for any picks, the trade and Okafor dropping are the things I have my fingers crossed for. If Okafor is taken Sam Montgomery should still be there for the pick...

| this is the first mock i've seen where i actually LIKE the trade back. if we can trade back and grab either Okafor or Montgomery and get the rest of the guys you have (LOVE THE ACE SANDERS PICK) this would be an amazing draft! Gaethers would be that big body DT we need to clog the middle and also could help us with more 3-4 looks. not really sure about franklin though. solid mock my friend. |

It's where they were listed on the prospect rankings I used, of course that could all change this weekend and after prodays, but that's why this is a pre-combine mock

Ive seen Wagner and Geathers as 3-4 rounders, and Ive read where Winn is a riser.

Not sure which site you used but it's different that most places draft locations. Geathers is a 3rd to 4th in almost every mock draft and on most draft site rankings.
With that said i like the people in this draft.
This could be easily fixed with drafting Geathers in the 4th where mcdonald is being taken then taking a FS later as it's not anywhere as big of a need as Dt is.

Although I doubt Miami would accept that trade and dont know if any of those first 4 guys will fall that far I love each of those picks and would be thrilled if it turned out like this

I'm a fin fan just trying to gauge what y'all were thinking in terms of the draft. I'm curious as to who would the fins be trading up to get? the fins are going to need all of the picks they have this draft, they have to many holes to fill to give up 2 2nds for a first (a late first at that). |
